Great for a group

The bunk house was perfect for our family trip of aunts, uncles and cousins. There was 15 of us. We all had our own bed plus place to put stuff. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and utensils we needed. The fridge is on the small side but we kept extra food in coolers. The poolhouse is right out the door and very convenient. Location is great. Just minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone. Front desk was very accommodating. Would love to return.

Family reunion

It was an overall great stay. I was a little disappointed about the bathroom situation. You have to go out of the room and share a bathroom. If you have kids, you need to go with them because there is public access through the elevator to these bathrooms and you need a key to get back in to the room. Other than that, the projector was awesome with the surround sound. The kids had a blast outside and in the pool. I have four starts because I would definitely stay there but I just wished I had been prepared for the bathroom situation.

Awesome property

Wow!!! This was an awesome place for us to stay. We had 40 people stay in the bunk house and had plenty of room. Great place to stay. Hope to go there again!!!

Island park family reunion

It was a good property in a great location. It had enough beds for our big family. The bathroom situation was a weird one. They were in a public hallway so anyone could access them. We had to leave the door open to our rooms because kids needed to use the bathroom quite often and they would need a key to re-enter the rooms. That wasn’t in the description. Also not a very well equipped kitchen. It would have been nice to have a better broom and a vacuum available. The management and workers at Sawtelle Mountain Resort were very nice and helpful.. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay at this resort again.

Staying in the Bunkhouse with old friends from college

The property and the bunkhouse were mostly clean. It was really easy to talk to the front desk, and I really appreciated how they answered all our questions from telling us what’s inside the included kitchen to what beds were included and what they could do to accommodate for more people. It was a great combination between a rental home and a hotel, where we had the experience of being all together in the same space hanging out without others around, with bedding, shampoo, soap, laundry and more, with cleaning included. Checking in and out was really easy, and the projector was a really nice addition.
