Welcome to Donner Lake Cottage!

Quaint yet sophisticated cabin located on the West shore of gorgeous Donner Lake. Our 3 bedroom + loft home has a bright, updated kitchen, full bath, private backyard, and is close to tons of fun outdoor activities both in the Summer and Winter seasons. We love furry friends and will welcome 1 dog with you during your stay.

The home was recently redecorated with brand new, stylish interior furnishings, including a farmhouse style dining table, comfortable living room couch and chair, cozy beds and bedding, and new appliances in the kitchen.

Guests have access to the backyard with a BBQ and fire pit, the front yard with a cute picnic table, and the porch, great for sitting back and relaxing underneath the pines.

Walk into this cute cottage and find a bright, open living, dining, and kitchen area. This cozy common area goes straight out to the private backyard, where you will find a BBQ for your afternoon cookouts and a fire pit in the Summer months. You will also find the first of three bedrooms, with a comfy queen bed, complete with access to the backyard, Biddeford blankets, AC, and more! The full bathroom & laundry room are also found on this level.

Head on upstairs, to the master bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed, another bedroom with a twin and a full, and the open loft with two twin beds.

Back downstairs, guests enjoy a comfortable porch with two rocking chairs and a front yard with a picnic table for dining.

During your stay you will have access to our washer/dryer, Wifi, a room for three parked cars.

Home is amazing year round. We are walking distance to West-End beach, the Pub, and more. We are just a short drive to hiking, walking trails, world class skiing, Truckee, and more.

*Note: our neighbor is going through a remodel and they are doing their best to be respectful and gracious to all guests.

Please note that this rental does require purchasing short term vacation rental insurance for stays up to 29 nights (reservations longer than 29 nights will need to discuss insurance options with Tahoe Cohost Collective prior to booking). The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury, if the fee has been paid. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible or minimum claim amount will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Tahoe Cohost Collective will process using the form of payment on file for Guest.

Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try and accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.

Due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, including poor air quality and smoke associated with wildfires, we highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance to cover your cancellation, as we will not be able to offer a full refund outside the cancellation window.
