Watched eclipse

We came to Dallas to visit cousins and watch the solar eclipse. The house is spacious, comfortable, and in very good condition. We enjoyed our stay. Some of the description and photos are out of date. The host was very responsive (she brought over extra pool towels and inflatable pool toys). We were very lucky and had a clear view of the entire eclipse even though the sky was completely overcast only one hour before the eclipse started.

Big palace

Great place for our family to set up for the week. Location was perfect to many attractions and restaurants. Relaxed in hot tub and pool. Owner very quick to respond.

Layout of the House

I wish there would have been something in the description about the layout of the house. My mother is disabled and was unable to sleep in a bed or shower because all bedrooms and bathrooms (except a half bath) were located upstairs. Had I known that I would have selected a different house.

Police stated that an owner called and blocked guests in driveway

I recently stayed at this property for my wedding weekend with my bridesmaids and their plus-ones. The day of the wedding the bridesmaids and I left for the venue with the plus-ones still at the property. Around 4 pm two of the plus-ones were blocked in the driveway by an unknown car. The police showed up and informed the plus-ones that an owner had called the police and that the owner was the one blocking the driveway because our friends were "trespassing". After the friends produced the booking confirmation, the whole situation was handled calmly, but our plus-ones almost missed the wedding. The host then messaged me a different story, stating that a neighbor had called the police. The host then ceased all communication. This was an incredibly stressful situation that should have been avoided entirely and should have never been escalated to the police. There were also issues in the kitchen with heavily rusted cooking supplies and dirty cabinets. The backyard is also in worse condition than shown in the pictures, with a massive deep pit filled with water by the house. I also had to reach out for check-out instructions, none were at the house.

Great location

My sister lives in the neighborhood and this was the perfect location for us to stay. Large yard for my boys to play soccer and everyone was able to have there room. Very spacious house!
