Palms of Destin, Unit 1210 is situated in building one on the second floor with really nice views to the east from a private balcony. You will love the sunrise views and coastal breezes from this fabulous unit. You will find a fully stocked kitchen with nice granite counters with full-size appliances and everything you need to prepare meals. There is a dining table for four as well as bar stools at the breakfast bar for plenty of seating to dine. The living room offers a queen sofa sleeper, nicely coordinated furniture, a flat screen TV & DVD, as well as access to the private balcony. The master bedroom also has access to the private balcony and features a nice king bed, designer bedding, and an ensuite master bathroom. The master bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a single vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin trundle. The second bathroom is just to the rear of the second bedroom offers a single vanity and a glass enclosed tiled shower. There is also a stackable washer and dryer to use during your stay, tucked away in a closet in the second bedroom.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location and resort

Resort/Location was great! Resort staff was really friendly and professional. Property is very clean, well maintained. Kids loved the pool area. Lots of entertainment at resort and nearby. Would definitely stay again. This actual units view was a strip mall with a Dollar Tree. Great for emergency runs but ugly to look at haha. Vacasa text information but wouldn’t answer there phone even during open hours. Overall we had a wonderful stay as will be back! Very family friendly

Code access stopped working

Our front door access code never worked from the time we arrived. We had to call Vacasa and they issued many different codes that never worked. We had to keep calling Condo security to let us in by key. We left a day early as a result of this hassle. Having to stand in the hallway countless times to wait on security to let us into our unit was extremely frustrating considering the cost we paid for this unit for the week.

The room was not cleaned or ready until an hour after check in time, which was inconvenient. Loading and unloading and getting our items to Our room was a chore, yet because of the arrangements of the buildings it felt safe. The second bedroom was too small and poor storage. But overall it was nice.

We had to leave

Vacasa Management was excellent about finding another property to move to so our vacation would not be ruined. This property smelled moldy when we walked in, the floors squished from being cleaned? yet still looked dirty (really needs new carpet or tile, better and cleaner.) One bed was broken and a sink did not drain. Black spots (mold?) on ceiling in shower. Before you rent this unit, confirm that these issues have been addressed. Not so close to the beach or restaurants either.
