Mooses in Milan.
Very good spot for access to the museums and the centre of this wonderful city. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the apartment was perfect for our short break.
Perfect Milano Flat
We were two couples making our first visit to Milano. This flat was perfect for seeing The Last Supper, Duomo and Castelle Sforza. Located a short walking distance from the Cadorna train station, we easily found the flat. Emiliano met us within 5 minutes of our arrival and opened the flat. The flat was very clean and spacious in the living area. The beds were firm and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Previous, Emiliano.
The perfect place for our stay in Milan
We recently visited our daughter who is studying in Milan. We were fortunate to stay at this property! It is conveniently located to wonderful restaurants, shops, and the train station. It is very clean, well appointed and has room to relax. The check-in process was great...so friendly and accommodating! Check-out was just as easy.
When we get back to Milan, we will try to book this wonderful home again!
There is a small "Simply" supermarket across the street and a huge Carrefour supermarket (unbelievably great!) just a few blocks to the west. Possibly the best pizza in the world right next door (I kid you not - as good as the best of Napoli or Manhattan). Great restaurants, cafes, delis, and sweets are within a block. The 19 tram (what in U.S. we would call a trolley) stops just out the door and takes you straight to/from the Duomo. A super-quick walk to the Metro (M1 and M2) and to the Trenord station for Como and Stresa and Varese day-trips (and an express to MXP). As for the apartment, it is big and comfortable. The kitchen is great and everything works. The washing machine was a godsend (no dryer though). The bed is very firm (as others note) but good quality that gives just enough so there is no stress on your hips or shoulders. It may not be a full U.S. style king, but it is bigger than a queen. The noise from the trams might be bothersome with the windows open, but only in the living room, and it is a big, busy city. It is otherwise very quiet, especially in the master bedroom, and the walls and floor are very thick and sturdy with little or no noise from neighbors.
We love Milano and loved our stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. If the bed were a bit softer (maybe a pillow top effect with a thick-comfy mattress pad?), we'd sign up to live here forever!
Very roomy but with surprise taxes and intermittent internet.
The unit is large and comfortable but we got hit with a surprise €3 per person per night "tax" to be paid in cash when we arrived. We might have chosen a different place had we known about this extra expense when we were booking.
The shower is very small and the towels aren't the best but it all works. The internet on the other hand only works well if you are in the bedrooms - it is very intermittent in the family room and dining area. The location is within walking distance of almost anything you would want to see and is close to a metro station so you can get anywhere easily.
Overall, except for the "tax" it was a nice enough place for our purposes.
Tourist Tax is not a surprise tax in Italy wherever you stay hotel b&b or flat you must pay it.
It’s already written in the announce. If you ignore it it’s not my fault
Location plus space
My favorite apartment in Italy. The train is less than two blocks away, the neighborhood is stylish, the pizza at Biacio’s is grand. I hope to return next year for my third year here. Oh, some claim the trolly to be a bit noisy. The pluses off set any negative!
