Heather Grace is a high-end lakefront Chateau that sits on a tranquil deepwater cove with an open range of lake views. This luxurious, custom-built stone & stucco European style home gives you the right to act a little "extra" on your vacation. The home welcomes you through two large french doors that open to the main floor with tall coffered & trey ceilings, wood beams, stone columns, and an immediate clear view of the lake. The floor plan continues to a den with fireplace, chef's kitchen, and elegant dining room leading to a large wrap-around covered balcony with ceiling fans, grill, and fun features (fire table) for entertaining. Also located on this level is the master suite, en suite bath with waterfront views and balcony access along with two additional bedrooms and a laundry room.

Moving down the wide plank oak hardwood stairs is the 'Lake Level', also known as the entertainment hub of the home. With a custom-designed bar and kitchen, private gym/game room with 3 flat-screen TVs, den with fireplace, pool table, and football table... you will need to stay a week just to do everything! The lake level also includes a second master suite, two additional bedrooms, a covered patio, and a second laundry room (you're welcome).

Take the fun outdoors to a personal white sandy beach, lush landscaping, lakefront paved patio with gazebo and fire pit, private concrete boat launch, covered dock, and over 160' of shoreline.

Did we mention the infinity pool and hot tub yet? Because this house has that too....

The house was very nice and was well stocked. We had quite a bit of trouble though with the water. The pressure was low a lot of the time. But in addition to the low pressure we lost water on main level of the house two different times and unfortunately it stayed out for a few hours each time and both times was when we were cooking and fixing meals. The maintenance crew came out two different days and did end up fixing the problem. The pool and spa were frustrating because you can’t heat both at the same time and having a larger group there that wants to do both at the same time made it difficult. Also, pictures showed cushions on the 4 chairs by the pool and there were none there and the loungers are not real comfortable without. The outdoor fire pit and chairs were nice to hang around. Like I stated the house was nice but I gave the rating 3 star due to the water pressure and the loss of water several different days.

Family getaway

Property was lovely Plenty of space for our three generation family to spread out. Round kitchen table was perfect for game nights and meals together. Quiet location on the lake. Wonderful pool. Very responsive to our questions

Annual Family Gathering at Lake Norman

Overall the house is nice, however dated in several ways with several areas where the presentation of the property was inaccurate and impacted our stay. 1. Day of announcement that the previous guests checking out that day identified SEVERAL things that needed repair, also that workers may still be on site when we arrived. 2. The "sand beach" is about 10x12 area above the rip rap; with no access to the water from the sand, but only from the boat launch (not a huge problem, but al LOT harder on the feet), full of sticks and branches with no rake or way to clear it. 3. Two of the four kayaks are unusable due to holes ill-repaired (and clearly so), both sank. 4. The paddleboard had no paddle 5 shower in the master randomly looses ALL hot water, making for some cold showers 6. Pool is freezing, so is the spa which got barely to 70 degrees during our stay. 7. We had to add water to the pool, contributing even more to it being cold, but cold better than empty. 8. there is not one side table in this house. Seems trivial, but somewhere to put down a drink would be nice. Some nit-picky, yes. And we had a great time, however, these things were mentioned and impacted our stay. This house is on the high end of the rental market and did not deliver based on the expectations set in the photos and by the price.

Great vacay!

Spacious home and well stocked kitchen with all the amenities for fun. Game room was a huge hit with the kids. Heather Grace is in a beautiful neighborhood with just the right amount of quiet for a peaceful stay and still be able to have the fun of being happy in the water. Quick access to the open part of the lake so having jet skis from Lake Effects really made the fun! We were so happy that the house a a huge amount of pool towels. Looking forward to loving the lake again!

Highly recommend! This is a beautiful home on Lake Norman. Highly recommend! Host was extremely responsive to minor issues that were outside their control. Thank you for providing a beautiful home for a special family reunion! We will return!
