About the host

Hosted by Amy Goan

Host profile image
My sister and I purchased two homes on the river, right next door to one another. Milford is a family town, with many families dating back generations. There aren't many lodging options or hotels nearby. We love taking care of these homes, and treat them as our own. We also enjoy sharing them with guests. Most of our guests are here visiting family. When you stay at one of our homes, you're treated as family.

Why they chose this property

We love Milford for its unique charm, walkability, amazing dining and shopping, as well as its proximity to gorgeous natural areas (we’re both nature photographers). Central Park, the Milford mountain-bike trail, and the Huron River itself afford visitors a rejuvenating outdoor experience.

What makes this property unique

This unique quad-level home on the Huron River features many amenities for guest comfort. Enjoy grilling on the river-front deck or paddle a provided kayak to Central Park or explore the river. My sister owns the home right next door, with an identical floor plan and adjacent backyard. Depending upon availability, both homes can be rented for a family reunion or larger group. As sisters, we co-host both properties. We live and work close by and are available to respond to guest needs in a timely manner.
