Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
probably best for weekends rather than long stays
We have been coming to Santa Fe for over 24 years staying in cottages and hotels. Our stay this time was a little below average based on the items below.
If you like to cook as much as we do please make a note:
no garlic press
no baking sheet (you have a hand mixer and stainless bowls so not sure why you do not have at least one kitchen tray or sheet)
no roasting pan (you have two meat thermometers but no roasting pan)
no citrus juicer/squeezer but you have a blender
no rubber spatulas
food left in the fridge were from 2021
I stopped counting at 26 cooking and steak knives in the house and all of them are dull including the kitchen shears - Bring your own knife.
Other items:
There are six light switches in the kitchen for each tiny accent light. This should be fixed. Bring a headlamp so you can see while you cook.
Living room is so gloomy - the photos online make the space well lit, but it is not even close. Bring a headlamp.
Property Managers one night were in the back house parting super late at night on one occasion - we did not get much sleep that night =(
There are lots of important house rules written all over the house binder. These items should be consolidated on one page at the front. It is also hard to read the format with different fonts, all caps, and colors on eight pages double and triple spaced.
Oh and for some reason the racoons love this house. At night they dance on the roof. Bring earplugs.
Positives:
Bedrooms, linens, and mattresses
