About Michael
I'm an artist-designer and my wife is artist illustrator living in New York. This is the property, where we have our Art studio in the barn, weekend house and ongoing property improvement projects. Every year, there is something new in the house or on the lake. This year, we added additional bedroom and bathroom on a second floor. A lot of hand crafted wood work, done by real masters. If you wish to visit our Art studio during your vacation, it can be arranged. www.artspacenyc and www.instagram.com/realtimeinink/

Perfect little getaway
Cozy cabin feel and close to the Casino!!!
Great getaway
The house was lovely and very clean. We were two couples and kids and everyone had a comfortable bed and enough room. The property is beautiful - away from the city, but close to some nice restaurants, a beautiful biking/walking trail and a little pond. The front yard had a fire pit which we really enjoyed on a chilly October evening. We wouldn't have minded more silverware and wine glasses, but overall this is definitely a five star experience and we'd love to come back. Thank you.

Hurleyville, New York is a hamlet in the Town of Fallsburg, New York in Sullivan County, New York. The town lies along County Road 104 and was originally developed because it was on the main route between the Villages of Liberty and Monticello, New York. The zip code for Hurleyville is 12747.
Hurleyville is bordered by the Town of Thompson, the Town of Liberty, the hamlet of Loch Sheldrake and the hamlet of South Fallsburg.
Hurleyville was originally settled by William Hurley. The local economy was originally centered on dairy farming, but gradually became part of the Catskills Borscht Belt resort area. During its heyday as a resort Hurleyville was home to many popular summer hotels, bungalow colonies and boarding houses, the biggest and best known was the rather grand Columbia Hotel located atop Columbia Hill.
Hurleyville was a station stop along the New York, Ontario & Western Railway (O&W). Due to mail getting mixed in with that of Hurley, New York, Hurleyville was temporarily renamed "Luzon Station". This name was chosen because the postmaster had a son stationed at Luzon Island in the Philippines.[1] Automobile competition led to abandonment of the O&W in 1957.[2]
There are currently two restaurants in the hamlet named "Frankie and Johnny's Presents Nardi's" and "The Pickled Owl" as well as recently open Makers Club and huge new building for Art Center.
Hurleyville residents are part of the Town of Fallsburg. Students attend Benjamen Coser Elementary School and Fallsburg Central High School. Sullivan County Community College is approximately one mile away in Loch Sheldrake.
Hurleyville is served by the Hurleyville Volunteer Fire Department; law enforcement services are provided by the Fallsburg Police Department. Hurleyville is also home to the Sullivan County Historical Society.
