About this property

This newly remodeled cabin sits on the back water of the Mississippi and Lake Onalaska. 200 ft of water frontage with its own dock. The cabin has one bedroom with a queen size bed ,a loft with 2 twin beds , and a queen size sofa sleeper. It is fully furnished. There are restaurants and pubs just a few minutes away. The state hiking/biking/snowmobiling trail is about 3 minutes from here. The fishing is good all year around. You can also bring your own boat and use the dock. There are 4 kayaks and a canoe available too. We also provide fishing and boat tours. (Fees for the boat and fishing tours). We just added a hatchet throwing target also. There is a $25 per visit pet fee.

Great place for a retreat. Lots of activities for those who want action.

It was a very nice home facing a peaceful part of the Mississippi River with lots of privacy. It is more like a home than a typical resort cabin. There was plenty of area to sit outside, with a great view of the moon. I saw canoes and kayaks, but didn't try them out. It's very close to LaCrosse where you can find anything a small city has to offer, including a co-op and hiking trails in the bluffs. I chose the area because it's in the Driftless area with bluff upon bluff, forest area with a variety of trees, and was very colorful in Oct. Now I want to explore WI more.

Serene cabin with lots of wildlife

Amazing cabin! Very comfy, cozy and well decorated! Fully stocked and we enjoyed cooking, grilling and barbecuing over open flame on the campfire! Gorgeous view right on the water, lots of birds and squirrels plus our fur babies enjoyed running around and swimming! Super nice hosts excellent communication! A home away from home we loved every minute! Thank you so much! A++++
