With soft sunlight and fragrant sea breezes flowing throughout, this four-bedroom home in Cape Coral enjoys a wonderful waterfront setting on a canal that connects to Matlacha Pass, Gasparilla Sound, and the open and beautiful Gulf of Mexico. It's an escape for boating enthusiasts, anglers, swimmers, and sunbathers alike, with a private dock on the canal and a heated outdoor swimming pool to cool you off on balmy Southwest Florida afternoons.
Dangle your feet and a fishing line from the dock each morning and spend your days reading in a lounge chair beneath the screened lanai, grilling your fresh catch for lunch, and dining in the shade of the umbrella or the patio. Enjoy happy hour cocktails out on the dock or find a game to watch in the living room, the sitting room, or outside on the patio's flatscreen TV.
Come dinnertime, you'll find stainless steel appliances in the kitchen as well as ample space to dine indoors at the bar counter, the kitchen table, or the separate dining room table. Toss the day's swimsuits in the washer/dryer, gather for stories and conversation in front of the electric fireplace, and retire soundly to one of the four bedrooms. You'll have your choice of two king rooms, one queen room, a fourth bedroom with twin bunk beds, and two full-size sofa beds that provide additional sleeping space.
This waterfront home is located on one of the canals of Cape Coral, with a dock and water access out to Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve, Gasparilla Sound, and the Gulf of Mexico. You can easily stock up on groceries at the Publix Supermarket less than half a mile away, and feel free to spend your days boating, fishing, swimming, and soaking up the Florida sun.
If you're looking to hit the beach, you'll find a number of options within day-tripping distance, including Yacht Club Public Beach on the Caloosahatchee River (13 miles southeast), Fort Myers Beach (23 miles south), and Sanibel Island (27 miles south). Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park, where you can kayak and hike among mangrove forests, marshes, and pine flatwoods, is only 15 miles north as well.
