About this property

Farmhouse on Hi-Line near hunting and fishing enroute to Glacier National Park

Cozy farmhouse built in mid 1900s and refurbished around 2016. Includes intimate gathering space, mudroom, three bedrooms, one bathroom and family room in the basement.

The home is situated among a working farm yard with fields of wheat all around. Often antelope and deer are in or near the farmyard. Enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets and spectacular views of the Sweet Grass Hills.

The Farmhouse north of our small rural town with local amenities such as a movie theatre, diner with amazing burgers and shakes along with a historical museum which also houses a fabulous dinosaur museum.

The home is approximately 45 minutes either direction to grocery shopping and local businesses. We are approximately 2.5 hours from East Glacier Park Village of Glacier National Park utilizing Highway 2. Also, near our region is the Milk River Management Area as well Fresno and Tiber reservoirs along with the Missouri and Marias Rivers for added fishing and recreation.

Great location for families, hunters/outdoor enthusiasts, dinosaur expeditions, cycling or motorcycles as we are directly off of pavement.

Our home can sleep up to 7 people. Home has high efficiency furnace as well as fast fiber optic WiFI. There is one bathroom with shower only.

Area available to occupant is the home and space to park up to 3 pickups/SUV vehicles. No pets are allowed.

Our bedrooms all have queen beds. The lower level has a queen bed and dresser and our attic area has one queen and one twin in the space. The main floor bedroom includes captain drawers underneath mission-style queen size bed as well as a closet available. Attic bedroom has dressers available.

The kitchen is up-to-date with modern appliances and is well-appointed with cookware and bakeware along with convenient washer and dryer located between kitchen and bathroom.

Basement has a bedroom with family room area and closet, two recliners and flat screen with Roku TV.

Guest access
Enter through the main door to the mudroom area of home. Coat hooks and area for shoes/boots is available. No shoes are allowed beyond mudroom/entry area.

Other things to note
In the summer months there is no air conditioning available.

There are exterior/outdoor security cameras facing north (entry area) and northwest (facing outbuildings) of home that are motion-activated and used solely for property security and protection.

The yard area is not fenced. There is a lot of room to roam or go for walks but it is not contained.

All renters must acknowledge and comply with rental rules and agreement.

We rented the property in Montana as a place to stay while we were there for a family memorial. Aside from the wind , the property was a peaceful place to be. It was comfortable and homey. The kitchen was well stocked. If we need a place to stay in the future we would definitely choose this comfy home!!

Dino dig stay
We volunteered for a dinosaur dig, and this was the closest (about 25 miles away) to the dig camp. It felt luxurious to have showers, laundry, comfortable beds, and a fully loaded kitchen. It's not exactly a vacation hot spot, but the house was lovely.
