The best place in the world for vacation with family!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in October 2014 for 8 nights as a base for exploring South Lake Taho. Clean cozy place for family and friends. The place is close to the Heavenly area of SLT, within walking distance of Stateline Casino's. I am sure will come here in winter!

Great condo close to everything

  • 5 of 5

Very friendly owners, cabin modern, nicely decorated, comfortable for small group of people.

Two bedrooms upstairs, kitchen and living room downstairs, along with outdoor Jacuzzi.

Walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants and gondola.

10 min walk to casinos and the lake.

The place had everything we needed for short stay - clean, comfortable, close for both hiking and dining, great outdoor grill, fully equipped kitchen. Dining table for a family meal.

Great Location but.......

  • 2 of 5

So first and foremost, it's not a cabin it's a tri-plex apartment with common thin walls and your stuck right in the middle. The owner is very nice and she accommodated our off again, on again trip to Tahoe. I've been staying in Tahoe for over 30 years, and this is like someone staying in your residential neighborhood to visit the sites of your home town. You feel like your interrupting their daily living. Kids in the street every where. People pushing shopping carts to their apartment full of daily groceries. People screaming at midnight or at 6am. get your a... out here "I'm here to pick you up" If that is ok with you then this is the place for you... The place is clean and the beds were good, but your out sitting on the back porch (it's not a deck) looking at our old run down cabins and listening to the neighbors dog bark for 5 hours straight. The car never moved for 3 days we walked everywhere and it was still in the driveway when we'd get back so I guess that's a good thing. If you just need a place to crash and want to walk everywhere and don't care that it's a cabin in the hood, then this is the place for you.

nice condo with great access to village and shops

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time and the condo worked well for our stay. The location was great and we could walk everywhere we needed to get to. The location seemed a little off at first, but we felt safe and had a nice time.

Perfect Small Condo Near the Gondola

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here! The house was clean and felt spacious for the modest size, probably because of the open layout on the first floor. Sharing 1.5 baths with 6 adults was tight, but totally doable (and you can technically sleep up to 8 people in the house). And the beds were comfortable.

There was plenty of seating between the breakfast bar, dining room table, and living room for hanging out apres ski. The private hot tub was great and well maintained. The house had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies, washer/dryer, and other nice extras (ipod dock connected to speakers, a massage chair cover, DVD player, etc.) There was a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towel rolls, and trash bags, but plan on buying more if you're staying more than a day or two.

The location is great. It's a short walk to the casinos, Heavenly village and gondola, grocery store, and restaurants (a block or two from the yummy Naked Fish restaurant!). I did not think that the neighborhood is dodgy, as someone else said in a previous review.

It took us a little while to figure out how to lock the door, but it was convenient to have a key code lock so that we didn't have to keep track of keys among everyone staying at the house.

Anya was great at responding to my inquiries and accommodating a special request. She also returned my security deposit within 48 hours. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Great Location & Ammenities!

  • 5 of 5

Four of us stayed here in Dec 2011--it's a fabulous location (a five minute walk to the Heavenly Gondola, a two minute walk to the grocery store), and has all the amenities (hot tub, grill, washer/dryer). The inside is newly remodeled and very comfortable. I would rent this again in a heartbeat (and probably will). The only slight downsides are that the neighborhood is a bit dodgy (we didn't feel unsafe, but the other places don't appear as well maintained) and the queen bed in one of the rooms has a definite sag (my husband and I "struggled" to stay uphill all night).

From the Owner

The cabin is close to everything - Heavenly gondola and shopping village with many restaurants, movie theater, ice skating ring - all walking distance! And it is about 10 minutes walk to casinos. We don't even use our car when we are there.
