The Space: This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment has been recently renovated and refurnished to meet all of your vacation needs. It has a bright, open lounge space with a mid-century modern design perfect for couples and/or small families. Throughout the apartment, you will find brand-new appliances, high ceilings, an original fireplace, exposed brick, trendy décor, comfortable furnishings, and recently restored hardwood floors.

The home is located right next door to the restaurant Fuel, an island inspired kitchen and bar. Fuel has a large outdoor patio that is perfect for relaxing, grabbing a cold drink, and refreshing food. Please be aware, it can get noisy as there is weekly live music on the patio outside. The home is located within walking distance to many popular restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and historic sites, makes exploring the city all the more enjoyable.

The property features…

*A Private Entrance. This 1st level apartment is located on the backside of a multi-unit house. Guests are able to come and go through their own private entrance.

*A Fully-Equipped Kitchen. Upon entering, guests will walk into the bright, open kitchen. The kitchen boasts gorgeous black and white tile floors, stone countertops, open shelving, and bar seating. It comes fully-equipped with an under-counter refrigerator and freezer, a gas stove top, oven, a garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, knife block, and basic cookware.

*A Spacious Living Room. The living room is open to the kitchen and features a large sofa flanked by 2 matching side tables, an area rug, coffee table, 2 matching club chairs, a standing lamp, ceiling fan, and a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall above a rustic console table. The exposed brick surrounding the fireplace and mantle, coupled with the midcentury modern décor and design, make this the perfect lounge space.

*1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom. Through the living room is the bedroom which has a plush king sized bed on a wooden bedframe, two matching bedside tables with lamps, a large closet, ceiling fan, and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. The ensuite bathroom boasts beautiful patterned tile with an Aztec-inspired design, all brand new fixtures, a vanity with stone sink countertops, and a full glass stand-up shower. Here you will also find the brand new stacked washer and dryer.

This property is certain to meet all your needs. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being steps away from countless popular sights and restaurants such as Xiao Bao Biscuit, Sugar Bakeshop, Counter Culture Coffee, PURE Theatre, and not to mention Fuel Charleston, located directly next door. Overall Good - but a few issues
The property was decorated well and very clean. The King bed was super comfortable but only gives you about a foot between the end of the bed and the wall. You need to turn sidewise to shimmy to get to the other side of the bed / and most importantly where the bathroom is. They note the neighborhood has construction, which is does, but we awoke to half of our mornings with construction being done upstairs on OUR house (sawing, sanding, hammering...). This was not pleasant. They note there is a restaurant/bar next door. If you step out of the door or open your bedroom or bathroom blinds - the outdoor area of this bar is right there. Like someone could toss me a fench fry from the patio into my mouth - close (if I really wanted to do that). There was live music one day which was not horrible noise wise (but cover song wise it was) It seemed to close by 10 and we were usually out so it never really bothered us, but just noting. The location was great. You were far enough away from King to not have a ton of street noise, but could walk most of the city. I didn't really have to interact with the Stay Duvet team that runs it, but they were welcoming and prompt with everything so I imagine if I had any issues it would be taken care of. I saw there office was a block away. There is parking in the back but its a narrow driveway. They say you need to leave room for three cars to fit. There was only one other car there when we stayed, but I think it would be very hard to maneuver three cars back there with getting in and out, especially if they were larger or SUVs. Again, nothing I experienced personally, but just my guess.
