About this property

Located about a mile from downtown in one of Hendersonville's historical neighborhoods.

It’s about a 3 min drive or 25min stroll through scenic neighborhoods on your way to enjoy downtown’s eclectic restaurants and shopping.
Enjoy a bike ride on the Oklawaha and Ecusta trail located across the street. The apartment comes with complimentary mtn bikes upon request. Go on a day hike in Pisgah National Forest or Dupont that homes the popular Triple Fall waterfalls. Sip craft brew and local wine from the many surrounding breweries and wineries.

Our place is a centrally located vacation stay with easy access to all the places you would like to see while being in a part of downtown historic Hendersonville. After a day of fun sightseeing and exploring, make sure to leave time for a soak in the hot tub on property.

We do live on property and are often around to answer questions. We have put up privacy screens on the porch and hot tub for your seclusion, but it does rest close to our large yard. Our young children as well as neighborhood children come to play in our yard from time to time. We respect “neighborly” hours (not before 10am or after 9pm) with our outside playtime.

That stated we also value privacy and seclusion for your vacation, and do practice freedom
from most disturbances.

Great little hideaway

This property is amazing. Very clean. As described on VRBO. Would stay again in a heartbeat. This property is on the lot of home owner and situated in a nice neighborhood. Very private and separate from home owners house and has a big deck with privacy shades. It rained the whole weekend so we watched tv and rested. Thank you for a relaxing stay!!!

Relaxing, fun, and quiet

The small but newly renovated apartment was just what my senses needed, the hot tub was relaxing, the place was close by to several places to eat and drink (including 5 downtown Hendersonville breweries!) The hosts left detailed helpful instructions, reached out with questions, and otherwise did not interfere with my stay. It was wonderful!

Great Stay

My partner and I stayed for the weekend. We were in and out but we were thankful for the homeliness of this place. We enjoyed the abundance of amenities this place had to offer, and we felt right at home!

Cute and Cozy Apartment

My family and I spent two nights here and found the apartment comfortable and clean! It is located on the second floor over what we thought was probably a garage, but it was quiet and we didn't see anyone else coming or going. We had everything we needed, and while I didn't cook a full meal, the kitchen appeared well-stocked. My kids loved the hot tub! The privacy screens on the porch and around the hot tub were a nice touch. The location is convenient to Hendersonville, several apple orchards, hiking trails, and Asheville is only a 30-minute drive away. The apartment sleeps four, but really is ideal for only two; once you convert the couch into a bed, you lose the living room and dining area. It was fine with our small children, but would definitely be too small for four adults. Overall, we had a great stay!

Great property and host

Excellent host - communication was very smooth and hosts were nearby if there were any issues or questions. Super clean and quiet - perfect location for exploring DuPont and Pisgah. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Strongly reccomend.

My biggest job yet, a mother to three beautiful children and two boxers. My husband and I are native to Hendersonville,NC and look forward to sharing the parts of our town that we love so much and thrive to keep beautiful. My husband specializes as a faux painter/decorator, and I teach yoga/ barre classes around town.
We recently renovated our in-law apartment behind our house and are ready to share with the traveling souls who are looking for luxury, comfort, and convenience in their stay. We are close by to answer any questions and provide quick service, but value the privacy and seclusion of those who come visit. We strive to produce a stay that is a luxuriously unique in design that combines mountain cabin with European rustic.
We love to travel and explore places with our family. We recently renovated a vintage airstream and are always looking for places to park and explore with our abundantly outgoing young family. We love the beach most of all and working on a cross country tour sometime in the future.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is what is known as a “mother-in-law” suite. It was very run down and inhabitable when we purchased our house. We have been working our own house and finally had time to start the apartment during COVID. It is a blend of our decorating styles and talents. We hope to make a sexy retreat for you, yet functional for a small family.

What makes this property unique

The property has a private hot tub and tragaer smoker/grill. We hope to make you feel at home and offer an experience for you to have fun while you explore.
The property does over look our large yard and you might see our children (and neighborhood children) playing in our yard as well as our dogs. We welcome any children to play in our yard supervised. Most likely our children will bounce out to join!
Also our neighborhood is one of the historical ones in town. The neighborhood is a quiet one that showcases many historical homes. We are located one mile from downtown and 15 miles for popular hiking destinations.
