About this property

A Magical Mountain Retreat

Here you will find an eclectic mix of intriguing designs, styles and amenities that encourage creativity and relaxation. Our space is ideal for a solo trip or small group gathering in the woods.

You will have easy access to the restaurants and shops in PMC Village as well as the Enchanted Forest Trailhead. This cozy retreat in the woods is a dream come true for us and we are happy we get to share it with you!

A split level double A Frame cabin for you to enjoy the serene beauty of the Los Padres National Forest!

The upstairs open floor plan allows everything to flow when together with friends and family. Enjoy your time being warmed by the wood-burning stove, hanging out, cooking, watching movies, playing games, listening to music, eating meals, or relaxing.

On the top level you will find the master bedroom with it's own private bathroom & claw foot tub. The main living/dining/kitchen area and office both access the main bathroom & shower. Next to the main room is the separate "Arizona" room for reading, doing yoga or relaxing any other way you see fit.

The wrap around deck gives ample outdoor space to enjoy the wildlife during the day or gaze at the stars in the sky at night.

Head downstairs to the extra bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a full size bed. The "Vietnam Room" is a second living room where you will find a futon for an additional sleeping arrangement. Downstairs is equipped with full bathroom and allows private access to the front and back yards.

BEFORE YOUR TRIP

*Check the weather during cold season* Occasionally it snows and the roads freeze over as it melts. It’s a good idea to get the local weather before heading up the mountain.

Plan your grocery list. Frazier Park Market is the last real grocery store before the wilderness. There is a General Store in the PMC village where you will find most of what you need but with a very limited selection and a premium on everything. Frazier park is about a 25 minute from the cabin.

On average cold days we typically burn 1/2-1 full bundle of wood. Firewood can be purchased at many stops along the way, including the General Store. Prices range from $5-8 per bundle depending on where you purchase.

Amazing Casa de Cabin Getaway!
Casa de Cabin was one memorable vacation trip on our bucket list for our little family! We celebrated this for hubby's birthday and family's 1st snow trip and it was more than we expected! Hosts Brian and Minnie made us feel like home and were very efficient and quick to respond to any last min questions. Us living in the Central Coast didn't imagine this would be such short distance to be in these amazing Mountains and have such a close getaway to enjoy snow in the 🌝 sun FUN plus all nature all around. We were a little nervous going to Casa De Cabin. Things we had forgotten they had readily available with everything needed! Having little children, wifi allowed us to go online and play Disney mvies or youtube kids. "Using our Own Credentials" of course. Outside, the hammock and swing was a plus! As the grown-ups top favorite was the dvds, and more than anything having the record player going with great music while the fire stove going. Host were extra caring to send their handy man to start fire with provided kindle, and show us how to keep cabin warm throughout. The Market and Bakery and Pizza place were super convenient and only 5 min away. Mt Pinos (TOP) of the mountain and all the snow fun was only a 15 min drive. There is so much I can't fit in this review. Overall can't say anything but great energy of this beautiful home. Just come ready to cuddle and enjoy the nature outside! Looking forward to the next trip back.

Birthday weekend!
The property was nice, clean and in a quiet location. The driveway entrance was rough to navigate. The grounds were nice. As well as the wrap around deck. I wish there was air conditioning as it was very hot inside as well ad outside. The property has plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Televisions in each of the bedrooms would have been nice as only 1 television was difficult with children. Overall we had a great time and wanted to extend our stay. We would like to rent the property again for our next getaway.

Hi, we are Brian and Minnie. This cabin has been a dream come true and we are happy we get to share it with you! We built our relationship in the great outdoors and being close to nature is very important to us. We split our time up between our Pine Mountain cabin and our LA apartment where we both work freelance in the entertainment industry.

Why they chose this property

Pine Mountain Club is a very special place with so much to offer nearby. It is a hidden gem only 90 minutes away from the city and offers up the perfect escape. There is hiking and a ton of outdoor activities to engage in.
