Welcome to the Sunset House. We are located at 511 Washington lane.

Just steps from the famous boardwalk of Ocean City Maryland. We offer vacation rentals during the season between May 1st and October 30th, minimum stay is 3 days.

The maximum number of people this place accommodates is 8.

We opened for rental in 2020 and after we did a thorough renovation that includes new beds, new wooden floors, new carpet, everything painted, brand new TV, renovated stairs and new terrace chairs and table.

Location was good; spacious and good amenities but some broken items and couch was dirty. Biggest issue was that we did not receive check in information until day after we arrived so had to make a bunch of confusing phone calls. Turns out place was part of a hotel and somehow missed that.

Very clean!

I was very impressed with how clean the house was when we first arrived. It was better than expected. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough silverware or pots and pans for our family of 6, so it would have been nice to have known to bring more. There were only 2 forks and a very small pan to cook on every night. Sheets and towels were provided (even though it said online we had to provide) so it would have been nice to know we didn't need to pack all of our laundries but other than that we had a great time and the house was located very close to the beach. The staff was super nice and instantly came over to check out our washer when we couldn't get it to work (it only washed with hot water) but they came over quickly and we solved the problem.. they were very nice and kind, even at check in . We will definitely stay here again.

Located just off the boardwalk!! Very close to the beach as well, great for children

Over all experience was good, my opinion was the place was pricey… but we didn’t plan to far in advance, and really wanted a weekend vacation

Little gem

As described, this little house was a perfect vacation situation. Close to beach and boardwalk, everything we needed to enjoy Our time AND a washer and dryer which was fabulous. Only suggestion—-a toaster would have been great!!! Excellent service, friendly!!! We will b back

What makes this property unique

Entrance is done by the staircase access. The front is a terrace with seating. As you enter the unit, there is an open plan living space with a couch and lounge chair, coffee table and a flat screen TV. The kitchen has a stove and a cook-top ,sink, cabinets, dining table and a large fridge, laundry cabinet is in the kitchen and a closet with a vacuum. Access to the main bedroom is out of the living room and it has a queen bed with a closet. Second bedroom access is also from the living and it has 2 bunk beds and a closet. Third bedroom access is from the kitchen area and it features a bunk bed . Bathroom access is in the living room and it features a cabinet, shower +tub combo and a sink with mirror.
This unit is not pet friendly.
We do not offer housekeeping for this unit but the in case you need anything just contact the front desk of the Americana Motor Inn and you will be assisted.

Check In and check out is done at the front desk at the Americana Motor Inn. We offer free parking on the 6th street properties-one free spot available ,and only one set of linens and towels.”
