The 1878 Victorian McClaine House is located steps away from historic downtown Silverton with numerous restaurants, breweries, shops, a historic theater, colorful murals, and Coolidge/McClaine Park. Just a mile from the Oregon Garden, a short drive to wine tasting, and closest stay to Silver Falls State Park.
Three spacious guest suites, 2 king and 1 queen, each with a private in-suite bathroom, and additional space containing a twin daybed for relaxation or traveling companion.
The space
Take a seat on the classic wrap-around porch, sit back, relax, and enjoy coffee or local Willamette valley wine, reading a book, or just watching locals passing by. If it gets too warm or cool on the outside, enjoy central air conditioning/heat inside. There is also a gorgeous antique Gothic style, Fischer Baby Grand piano (approximately 1865) on-site for musical guests.
Guest access
House guests are welcome to use all of the historic Victorian home. Three master suites, all with in-suite bathrooms, daybed quarters for lounging or space for an additional guest or child, and remote work areas. The house has a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, front & dining porches, along with it’s beautiful back yard. Front parking lot off Main Street fits 3 cars, ask if you need additional parking.
Other things to note
Check out Taryn’s Guestbook for ideas on where to go in and around town.
Currently there is roadwork on McClaine Street so no access to back driveway/parking.
Be extra cautious driving in and out of the front parking lot.
McClaine house is the corner lot of a historical neighborhood. Please be quiet and courteous to local neighbors.
