Nelson - Stepp Wedding

We enjoyed our stay other than a few things. The bed was comfortable which was a plus. We weren’t too happy with the cheap toilet paper and lack of paper towel, front porch light was out. What bothered me the most was the loud kitchen faucet. I’m not sure if I’ll go through Vacasa again because I was told this property shared the pool at Watercrest which is where my sister stayed, the only reason I booked this spot. I’m a positive person and always make the best of what’s thrown my way.

Location is great

Location was absolutely great and quick walk out of condo to the beach. Condo was clean, however as soon as we walked in it smelled like smoke horribly. We opened doors and sprayed to air out. Was told someone would get back to us in 24 hrs. Of our concern, but didn't hear anything. Got in the shower and there was black stuff on the ceiling and someone came the next morning. There was only one bath, so they sprayed the ceiling with kilts which basically would make you dizzy from the chemical smell. We had to end up leaving until the smell cleared. We were happy with the condo all in all, but the service with vacasa was our first experience and we weren't very impressed.

Good but not great

We absolutely loved the location of Nautical Watch and our condo! It was convenient with easy access to the beach and was great that our room was right off the pool. We would come back from the beach rinse off at pool showers and drop our beach gear on the patio- so nice! The beach was not crowded and location is away from the super crowded areas of PCB. The condo itself was clean however it needs some updates- it shows a lot of wear and tear. If you require a comfy mattress this is not the place to stay- felt every spring and lump. Also the only cover provided is two top sheets- no bed spread! Again the linens were clean and we had plenty of towels. We did love that there was an in unit washer and dryer- this is a must for us as we wash beach towels and clothes everyday! Bring your own detergent - two pods and some dryer sheets are provided but not enough for us. This was not a big deal though as we always bring our own. We didn’t spend much time in the condo anyway so it worked okay for us but may not for others.
