Great place, great location, great host

This property is stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. Our stay here was nothing short of amazing, from check-in to check-out. Shane was a great host, checking in to make sure everything was to standards and showed he was available if needed. I've never stayed at a VRBO with such high level of customer service. If you're looking for a getaway, I highly recommend this property. We will be back for sure.

Shane has a beautiful house and is caring to the guests. The wine and smores were very thoughtful to the wife and I for our short getaway. Shane made sure to check in t make sure we didn’t need anything. The house was very clean and we loved the features. Would definitely recommend the stay!

This cabin was lovely. Clean and sooooo pretty! Even better in person. Great location. Comfortable and homey. We will for sure be back! Host checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were good. Loved it there!!

The design inspiration for this custom cabin came from family trips to the 30A area of the Florida panhandle. The vacation homes along Rosemary Beach, Seaside and Watercolor offer volumes of space, professional décor, and comfortable for a relaxing stay near the ocean. This cabin attempts to create that same emotion and warmth in its spaces while emphasizing the beauty of its best asset, the serenity of trees. Its not the ocean, but there is something about sitting outside and listening to the wind rustle through trees. This Cabin was not designed to maximize guests or revenue, its was created for my family and others that appreciate the meaning of "time away". Vacation is for memories, not just passing time.

The name 'Chasing Rumors' was created from my daughter after our 6 year old German Shepherd named Rumor. However, Rumor is not allowed at her own cabin that bears her name since I want a pet free environment for myself and guests.

Why they chose this property

I designed this cabin to serve as my home away from home, not just a short term rental. My hope is feel the same way within seconds of walking through the front door. The walk-in pantry, walk-in closets in each bathroom area, the emphasis on providing great views while not sacrificing privacy are key elements to make this property different than the others. This was created for how my family enjoys comfort and hope it meets your expectations as well.
