Saint Marys GA is a charming small town, with excellent restaurants within walking distance, and proximity to all the conveniences, of several grocery stores, Walmart, Lowe's, CVS, etc., downtown Jacksonville, or a short drive to Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, The Golden Islands and the JAX Airport. We fell in love with this quaint, historic waterfront town the first time we visited, and we know you will too.

Relax and lounge on one of the south-facing multi-level decks overlooking the Saint Marys River/Georgia-Florida state line to enjoy views of the boats passing by, along with the spectacular sunsets. Wander down the marsh dock across the street where you can sit to enjoy the wildlife and the inter-coastal boat activity.

Upon entering you feel the warmth of this home with the beautiful hardwood floors throughout and the see-thru remote control gas fireplace. The living area is very bright and cheerful. The Amenities include 3 beautifully decorated en suite bedrooms with inviting brand-new king-size memory foam beds. The kitchen is a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a convection oven, chilled reverse osmosis water, and all the tools needed to cook and eat in. If you are looking forward to pampering yourself with some meals out, you can walk down the street to some of the area’s best downtown eateries and watering holes.

Promenade at the waterfront Howard Gilman Memorial Park or enjoy various scheduled events at this park on the water’s edge.

***Check out the St. Marys History Walk which is a 600-foot trail that offers an education on the history of the area. The trail is located down the boardwalk across from Waterside Park and has 24 interpretive panels that outline the history of St. Marys and Cumberland Island.
The walk begins with the Timucua Indians and the founding of the shipbuilding industry. Visitors can pick up a brochure from the visitors center.***

Catch the Cumberland Queen to spend the day on the history-filled Cumberland Island where you can see the wild horses, ruins, Cumberland Island National Seashore’s pristine beaches, or surf fishing. You are welcome to borrow our bikes to take on the ferry to explore the out-of-the-way spots on the Island.

Love being out on the water? Bring your boat or use one of the many area charters for a day of sport fishing.
