Great Property!
My family of 4 just returned from a fabulous Fall Break Beach trip! The property is very well maintained and is in a prime location! Close enough to Orange Beach's restaurants and shopping, but out away from the crowded beaches! The building has 3 elevators, vending machines on the 1st floor, air hose to blow up floats or to dry off your chairs, two separate outdoor shower stations, and the pool is located on the 3rd floor so you have a clear view of the beach and gulf! The actual condo was super nice and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and there are some beach toys in the laundry room. The microwave was a bit of a challenge. It's a smart microwave and we couldn't figure out how to work it (and we are not dumb people). We just kept hitting +30 seconds to warm up our food. The oven is stuck on Celsius so we had to google a conversion chart to cook. However, we didn't cook much so no big deal! I do recommend you check what's there before you grocery shop. Lots of kitchen items (trash bags, dawn, etc.) left by others that we didn't need to buy. The only complaint we have is the parking!!! There's plenty of spots, however getting to them was a challenge. Whoever designed the entrance and exits should seriously rework the space! So glad we drove my Yukon Denali and not my husband's crew cab truck. I recommend driving the smallest vehicle you can! Still not a reason to pass on this amazing property!! The Hosteeva people were great to work with!

A wonderful time
We stayed 9 days and we were thrilled that it was just like in the pics. The decor & furniture were cute. We didnt use the sofabed so I can't speak to that, but the sofa itself and 2 beds were comfortable. And there were 2 Barcalounger chairs like Joey and Chandler had from Friends! They were sooo comfortable that we're now looking into buying ones for our house. The whole unit was very clean (& smelled clean) when we arrived. The toaster and microwave died while we were there but the host had a repairman come out and fix everything that same day, which was great. The microwave is a little quirky - if its touchscreen stops responding, it just needs to be turned off to reset. We didn't have any problems after that. Being on the top floor gave us a spectacular view of the ocean and beach. We were there at the end of July/beginning of August and the beaches had a comfortable number of people on them-we had plenty of space to spread out. There were 3 elevators all together, so it was very easy to go from the beach or pool up to our floor-the max we ever waited was a minute and we spent all of 2 mins in the elevator, unlike in other places we stayed where we had to wait and the elevators were very crowded because there were only 1 or 2. I read the other guests' reviews and it's true you'll need a car to get to restaurants, unless you only plan to eat pizza (highly recommend Lillian's across the street btw!). Many restaurants are understaffed right now so takeout was not available often, but you could call around to see if that's still true or was just temporary. Someone mentioned a rusty door: the elevators themselves were working fine for us and looked like they were cleaned daily. As you get out of the elevator, the unit next to ours had a rusted front door and supply closet. It's unsightly, but we just walked past it to our unit, which has been fully updated. We appreciated the fullsize washer & dryer bc we were there so long. The dishwasher was a double drawer, so you could do a mini load. And we found the Yeti water bottle someone mentioned, but it was clean and ready to use. It now has a companion -a green water bottle (also clean) -so I have a feeling these were things left behind by previous guests. Speaking of which, there are several boogie boards next to the washer/dryer: some bent or missing the wrist band, but useable if you forget yours. We hope to be able to stay in this beautiful unit again in the future.

Great View
Good location and great views. The only problem we had was the fridge/freezer was brand new and the water wasn't hooked up to it. No ice or filtered water. I didn't complain or notify anyone, since we weren't in unit much. I just grabbed a bag of ice and some bottled water at the Publix. Also, took us a hot minute to figure out the front door opens by pulling UP on the handle, not down... a good thing to know when checking in late night, in the dark, trying to see the keypad and exhausted after a long drive!
