Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the streetand just a two-minute walk from ever-popular Kamaole Beach III, a lifeguarded beach park. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features four tennis courts (no fee) with a daily drop-in program, Spinshot tennis ball machine, and weekly free clinic by a USPTA Pro. Adult and junior tennis rackets are available to rent with complimentary balls. Kamaole Sands offers 2 pickleball courts; paddles are available for rent and quiet pickleballs are available at no charge. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis. Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from nearby championship golf courses.

Kamaole Sands #2-404 is a large 1,188 sq ft. two-bedroom two-bath unit on the fourth floor. There is a split system A/C and ceiling fans throughout, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, telephone, 3 TVs, a DVD and Blu-Ray player, and free Wi-fi. There is a California king bed in the master and a flat screen television. It is kept cool with a split system air conditioner. The second bedroom has A/C, two twin beds, and a flat screen TV. The master bathroom is an en suite with a shower/tub combo. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room as well as A/C, a large screen SmartTV with DVR and a Blu-Ray and DVD player. The unit is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and sand toys. Enjoy a view of majestic Haleakala from your lanai. Kamaole Sands #2-404 sleeps 6.

Vacation in Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Kamaole Sands property was stunning. There were beautiful plants and trees everywhere and the grounds were perfectly manicured. The pool area was very nice as well. There is a ping pong table, a fuse ball table and a small gym next to the pool. We were in building 2, unit 404. The balcony is small but has a beautiful view of the ocean. The unit comfortably sleeps 4 people ( 2 single beds in downstairs bedroom and a king size in upper loft). The downstairs bedroom closet has 5 beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, a wagon to bring everything to the beach, a boogie board, pool noodles, water wings and 2 beach umbrellas (but don’t bother trying to use the umbrellas at Kam beaches because it is too windy). There were lots of spices in the kitchen and coffee filters but you need to purchase everything else including coffee, sugar and condiments. The location is great. It is right across from Kamaole beach 3 and a short walk to the right to Kam beach 2 or to the left only 5 min walk to the Kihei boat ramp where all the snorkel boats leave from. It is also a short walk to some shops and restaurants. Coconuts was good for a quick meal. Good land is only a 5 min drive up the road. Our favourite restaurant was Nalu’s Southshore Grill which was a 7 min drive up the road. The grounds crew at the Kamaole Sands were very sweet and friendly. It was a relaxing atmosphere. We walked across to the beach every night to see the stunning sunsets. It was an awesome week with my family!

We enjoyed our stay in Kamaole Sands. The unit was exactly as described. It was clean, had all the advertised amenities. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, sand toys, boogie board, and wagon. Our kids loved the pool and the grilling area was great.
