About this property

Welcome to this peaceful, 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom terrace level retreat with private entrance. Sleeps up to 4 with 2 queen beds. The indoor space includes a large living area / rec room with pool table, mini kitchen area equipped with coffee maker, fridge and microwave, smart tv and access to the zen-like backyard with a large deck, firepit, creek, hot tub, and tons of privacy!

This home is my primary residence in which I occupy the upstairs. My property is close to Lake Lanier, Road Atlanta, NE GA Medical Center (Braselton and Gainesville locations), golf, wineries, Mall of Georgia, music venues, Chateau Elan, fine dining, North Georgia mountains, and the list goes on and on!

Host offers kayaks, fishing gear, guided hikes, and even local transportation for a nominal fee! Extended stays will be considered!

Peaceful getaway

The property is exactly as advertised. The creek runs alongside the yard and it's quiet and zen-like. The neighborhood is upscale and there's plenty of stores around. I'd definitely come back to stay even longer and highly recommend this place.

Quiet get away

Owner provided lots of good information about the property and surrounding area. Tranquil backyard/porch area. Hot tub was nice in the evenings to relax in!

Beautiful Apartment, House, Lot, Setting, Neighborhood. Exceptional Host

Two mature race fans attending the petit Lemans at Road Atlanta. Dana shows just the right amount of attention and is very easy to work with. The accommodations are just as pictured but the setting would be impossible to do justice in photos. Sorry race fans, we're going back next year.

Return to Georgia

We had five nights on this property. Our host Dana welcomed us as soon as we got there and even helped us unload the car. We found the rooms very clean and fully stocked. The rooms are bigger than they look and the living room very cozy. Hot tub was clean, pool table in great shape, AC excellent! Dana is a natural born host, she goes above and beyond. She made herself available if we needed anything but not intrusive; we felt like we had the property entirely to ourselves. There is a brook outside and it was relaxing to listen while our porch. Speaking of which was a pretty big area well furnished with table and chairs, some for lounging. You have privacy because the property backs into woods with no houses to be seen. We will without a doubt book this property next time we go to Georgia!! Thanks Dana for all you do to make your guests feel welcome, we will remember you. La Juana and Gary.

Zen appropriate

My husband and I went to Georgia for a very relaxing 10thyear anniversary trip. We had a chance to hang with his sister and dad but mostly relaxed and went into the hot tub (amazing!) read on the deck .. hung out in the spacious and relaxing house. We played pool too! Dana is great! Don’t even think twice about this location. Oh and Mitchell Creek babbling in the background just added to the relaxing sounds 😀 We’ll be back. Dena and Mike

I am a retired elementary teacher who taught for 30+ years! Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, but have lived in the Atlanta area for over 50 years. Because of my very active lifestyle, I love being near Lake Lanier, an hour from the N. Georgia mountains, within minutes of hiking trails/greenspaces, and surrounded by numerous restaurants, music venues, and shopping areas, but most grateful for the close proximity to the rest of my family and good friends! Besides becoming a pet sitter just before retirement, I also compete in local and regional triathlons!

Why they chose this property

I had this house built in 1999 when the area was slightly more rural knowing that residential and commercial growth was coming my way. This is my first home which makes it even more special to me! I manage the upkeep of this property almost exclusively by myself AND take great pride in my yard and all of the home improvement projects I have completed over the years!

What makes this property unique

To this day, I still feel as though I have the nicest, most peaceful lot in my entire subdivision, but of course, I am a little biased! :) What I look forward to every day is the view from my kitchen window, or even better, from my deck. Seeing (and hearing) the creek behind my property, watching birds (and squirrels) eat from the feeders, observing a family of deer near my backyard, or even experiencing a fox, hawk, owl, coyote, possum, or raccoon sighting makes this location worth visiting!
