The Hammocks at Marathon Family, Fun, and Relaxation all Together in One Place!

The Hammocks at Marathon is located midway along the Florida Keys. Marathon is just before the famous Seven Mile Bridge and only 50 miles north of Key West. While it has certainly grown, the pace is still relaxed and dress is always casual. Marathon is the ideal destination for snorkeling, diving and fishing. In fact, few places offer such a diversity of fish. The waters teem with cobia, sailfish, marlin, snapper, grouper, tarpon, Spanish mackerel and more.

Your room will have a balcony, cable TV, blender, microwave, internet, coffee maker, stove & oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Extras include a hairdryer, desk, and ironing board.

Guests can enjoy fishing charter services for an additional fee. Other amenities include a computer in the lobby with access to copy and fax services and free on-site parking.

The property is also an 8-minute drive from Sombrero Beach. The Dolphin Research Center is a 15-minute drive away and the Turtle Hospital is a half mile away.

Best sunset
We enjoyed our stay! The staff at the Hammocks was very accommodating. We enjoyed the pool, watching the beautiful sunsets from the pool area and we loved that it was close to Sombrero Beach. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks while taking in the amazing views. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This property is central to all locations in the Keys. There is plenty to do Marathon and more to see short distances away.

What makes this property unique

Marathon is a great place to be. It is in the middle of the Keys with easy access to Key West, Islamorada, and Key Largo. It is resort with friendly people. Barnacle Barney is the resorts Tiki Bar and grill. Enjoy a drink at the poolside or hot tub.
