Short Vail visit
This is a perfect location. The condo was spotless. There was absolutely nothing additional you would need to stay here. The kitchen was meticulously stocked with tools, cookware, spices, coffee, and bottled water in the frig. The bathrooms had soap, shampoo and toilet tissue options that felt like we were at home. The king bed was so cozy, and the pillows were the best. Heather responded immediately with a check in question. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a weather concern and needed to get home. We highly recommend this property!

Wonderful condo right near the lifts and village!
This is a perfect 1BR 1.5 bath within a 5 min walk to Vail Village! Heather and Cameron were great and easy hosts making sure we had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out instructions are very clear and easy which isn’t always the case. The condo was super clean, and it was great having access to do laundry as we stayed almost a week. We skied 5 days, and it was a short hike to Gondola One or Riva Bahn depending on where we wanted to start our day. The free bus stop is also right by the condo if you want to head over to Lionshead. Easy walk to all of Vail’s wonderful restaurants when we headed back out for the evening! Highly recommend staying here!

About the host

Hosted by Heather Douglas

Host profile image
Heather was born and raised in Wisconsin. She moved to Colorado in August of 2001. Cameron grew up in Miami and moved to Colorado in 2004. Ironically enough Heather and Cameron met in March of 2005 on Chair 2 in Vail. In 2006, they began their family and had their first daughter. Four years later in 2010, they had another daughter and decided their family was complete. In 2017 they took a huge leap and bought Montauk Seafood Grill in Lionshead Village. In 2019 they took over a space in Vail Village and opened the brand new restaurant El Segundo. In 2023 they opened a second El Segundo in Eagle, CO. Heather, Cameron, and their girls still live in the Vail Valley and love the mountain lifestyle just as much as the day they moved here. They are in Vail almost every day to check on the restaurants, maintain the condo, and take advantage of all of the recreation Vail has to offer.
