Very well equipped kitchen . Free WiFi and many TV channels available in a variety of languages. Extremely comfortable home with a wonderfully private and charming courtyard excellent to sit out in during the warm summer evenings. New convection heaters and wood burning fire in the lounge for warm and cosy winter nights. The medieval town of Obidos is an 8 minute walk from the cottage, many restaurants and bars in the town. The cottage is extremely well placed for easy visits by car to many of Portugal's great attractions, Practice surfing at Baleal Beach, Peniche, professional surfing on some of the highest waves in the world and fantastic fish restaurants at Nazare. The monastery at Batalha, pilgrimage to Fatima and just 45 minutes down the motorway Lisbon with many places to visit and entertain you.

Obidos

We had a nice week, sunny and rainy, the house is next to a small supermarkt and on a nice walking distance of the park and castel. Did day trips, easy to visit wonderfull places in the area. A good place to spend the nights and we had a warm welcome prepared house, many thanks!

Good place to stay

We had a lovely holidays in this house, which is well located to visit the area. The house is well suited with everything you could need and the coutyard is very nice to have “al fresco” dinners or breakfast. Communication with Rowena was very easy and fast and she is very helpful. The rooms upstairs may be a little warm in certain hot days but there are fans to mitigate. In general it is a very nice cottage.

Great house and location

Great location, a few minutes walk away from the medieval center of Obidos. The house is very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. We very much enjoyed our stay !

Excellent!

We had a perfect stay. The description in the ad has been absolutely accurate. Everything was as described and better! The owner has taken great care to make the stay perfect right from the start including sufficient detergent and dishwasher tabs and wonderful extra features like snacks and drinks waiting for us in the fridge. We will love to come back in the future.
