Walk in the clouds cabin sits atop a 1200 foot ridge over looking the Potomac river valley and Greenridge state forest. Every room of the cabin has an amazing view of the world beneath you. Enjoy the wilderness and seclusion of West Virginia with only a short drive from, D.C. and Baltimore. If your looking for romance the star gazing and sunsets are hard to beat here. The Trails on and around this property are filled with wildlife. Kayak fish or swim the Potomac...the adventures are endless. Just minutes from restaurant's spas and shops in Berkeley springs. We do recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle during winter months. We have a brand new amenity, a hot tub. There is an additional $25 per night fee to use the hot tub.

Riding on the C & O

We loved it. Bicycled on the C and O towpath for 3 days.We had great weather. It was a 30 minute drive to the trail access which was far.

Anniversary trip

Love the awesome view of the mountains! Host was very accommodating. Peaceful and quiet cabin away from everything. Look forward to this trip every year!

Cozy cabin with amazing view

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view is awesome! The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The fireplace was really nice. We would definitely visit again.

Fall colors! Warm weather!! Perfect!!!

Another visit to “A Walk in the Clouds,” and the weather could not have been better … or more different. Sunny, very warm days and comfortable nights. Our hosts we great, as ever. Good walks on the C&O, good birding, fun small, local places to eat. The cabin is right-sized and fully-equipped. We’ll be back.

Lovely, Cozy Cabin with Gorgeous View

Neat, clean and comfortable cabin. We really enjoyed the scenic view and the sunsets. Cable TV and Wi Fi worked well. Nice touch was the bottle of wine and chocolates!
