A little disappointed

When my husband and I travel to Colorado Springs, (for a medical procedure) we look very specifically for a nice big cozy couch to relax on because we spend a lot of our time there resting/relaxing. When I initially booked this listing, the living room had a picture of a sofa that pulled out to extend to an ottoman. Looked big and comfortable. When we got there, it was not a sofa. It was a different couch completely. It was a loveseat, and it did not extend. Not very comfortable at all or accommodating for what we were looking for. When I mentioned that to the host—He or She just stated “thanks for letting them know- they forgot to update the picture”. I did not receive an apology for not giving us what we we were looking for and expecting to get based off listing. I did mention to them that their place was nice and everything was pretty new, but everyone has a different Specific thing they’re looking for when renting a place and I mentioned that had the listing been accurate I would have searched for a different place. It may not seem like it was that big of a deal to them. But again to us it was inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Beautiful Area Near Everything & Loads of Natural Light Inside!

We stayed in Colorado Springs for 5 days to attend a wedding over New Year’s Day. The townhome is beautiful, overlooks a vast open area for walking and has a small playground at a distance. Inside, it has an abundance of gorgeous natural lighy which I particularly loved. It was clean and ready for our stay. Conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores, and a variety of attractions, we didn’t have far to go for necessities. The 2-car garage was very convenient also. The owners obviously take care and pride in offering a wonderful place to stay and thought of just about everything! They were quick to respond to any questions we had.

Best for younger couples, not 80s oriented.

Property not ideal for 80 year old guests. Steep stairs to bedrooms - 16 steps. Unknown source of allergies for spouse in master BR - dust in fabrics? Lack of directions on remote control of BR fan - came on several times at full speed in middle of the night - irritating. BR light switches did not turn on any lights. Showers were good as were towels and sheets. Kitchens well stocked, maybe overstocked, limited room for guest groceries, but missing trash bags. Larger DR table needed. Internet worked fine as did kitchen appliances. Garage too small for F-150 (6' bed), but outdoor parking 100' away. Neighborhood housing very close together. Good walking areas easily accessible.
