Not the best

Checkin was easy. It’s attached to another cabin so parking is limited and had to park and walk to our cabin. The ceiling leaked, hot tub jets didn’t work, the bottom shower is just a tub not a shower. Cabinets and door handles kept coming off. We didn’t have blankets on some of the beds the first night and couldn’t get in touch with the property managers and didn’t receive them until we’ll into the afternoon the next day. The cabin didn’t have trash bags which we didn’t realize until we were cleaning up to leave and we still hadn’t received them 5 hours after calling. Definitely did not feel worth the money.

This property should not be available to rent. My family and I had a very bad experience with the end result moving into another cabin that was absolutely beautiful, CLEAN, and equipped with everything we needed, such as towels and wash cloths and no bed bugs. Upon arriving at Almost Heaven, the door did not feel super secure and there were no blinds in the main living area, only very few in bedrooms and they were all broken. There were no towels nor wash cloths for our family of 11 nor were there any dish towels or pot holders. The kitchen was not equipped, the dishwasher needed replaced. We had to lift one side of dishwasher up because it was so lopsided in order for it work. The bunk beds were dirty, downstairs bed frame was broken, main floor bathroom floor was sticky. I could go on and on. The WORST of it all after 2 days of staying there which I still ask myself why we stayed, was that we found a bed bug on a non used sheet that had been placed by the couch. Oh my goodness….never in my life have I been extremely panicked and angry. I called immediately and did not get anywhere until I decided to contact our Travel Agent who was able to get through to management since no one would direct me to management. She was appalled with what I explained to her and wished I would have contacted her on Friday when we first arrived knowing it was not up to good standards. Huge lesson learned for me. I could keep going, but lastly, I did get our $ refunded. Beware. Sad.

Rat feces

Rat feces found outside and downstairs, dirty linens one two beds, grease and bugs built up on the kitchen counter, floors were dirty, no supplies to wash dishes, window blinds were busted all over house. Took photos for proof.
