About this property

Beautifully furnished house with a mother-in-law suite with all bills paid. This is a quaint and timeless eco-friendly house made of hemp called the Nauhaus located in West Asheville. It was designed as a model for urban sustainability and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The passive solar design and 16-inch thick hempcrete walls help the house stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It also features a living roof, brick floor and walls made from clay from the building site.

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood

We had a rather extended stay here. The neighborhood is wonderful and the house is exactly as expected from the pictures. My children were very sad to leave. Great place to stay and very convenient location.
