Overall we had a great stay. It is an older house that had its flaws. The first night the lower-level heater was not working, the owner promptly called out a handman however it was still not fixed. The next morning, he had an HVAC specialist come and fix the problem. That first night was a bit cold down there because the portable heaters kept causing the breaker switch to flip and we had to go reset it a few times, and there were no extra blankets down there. After this first night the heater was working and it was very comfortable. Bring your own tin foil, saran wrap, paper, pens, etc. The house had very little "extras" making it truly fully stocked. Some dishes needed re-washing. Loft area fan light was not working. The pool table and jacuzzi were nice. No balls were there for the ping pong table. Ice maker did not work on the refrigerator; however, they did have a separate ice maker, but this did not make ice very quickly, so we had to go buy ice twice. Neighbor across the street was blowing rocks from his house and street onto our cars, which we had to ask him to stop; he then proceeded to blow all of his snow onto our cars the next morning (which also kicks up rocks) onto our cars and burying them in his snow, and we again had to go ask him to stop this as well. The neighbor next door was very nice. I believe the owners should stay there a few nights to experience what would make it more of a 5-star house. Overall we would stay here again and come more prepared.
