Don't judge a book by it's cover

PROS Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds & pillows, great hammock for afternoon naps, BIG back yard, screened in dirty patio. CONS - Outdated The BIG back yard is covered with "Aments" a.k.a. Tree pollen. If you bring a dog, with long fur/hair, you will find yourself brushing them off EVERY time they go out, the tree pollen will end up all over the inside of the house...Filthy rugs full of the pollen seeds. Every rug should be replaced. Filthy patio needs a power wash, Fire pit-chairs need a power wash, The screened front door hits your ankles (ouch) if your not careful walking in, ...Super busy street (big trucks) - I donated coat hangers, laundry basket & drano (clogged tub) *Important*..My 10 lb. Bischon was able to escape from the fenced in yard, thankfully I found him sitting on the front steps...The busy road is only a few feet away.. Keep looking..Hopefully the owners will take note and clean it up.

Old home in transitioning neighborhood

Construction activity picking up in 2024. Although beautiful Payne Park and Legacy Trail are blocks away house is on busy street with no sidewalk on house side. Noise from clearing old properties and construction of new homes made enjoying outside spaces difficult.

Cozy cottage close to everything.

Check in couldn't be easier. Owners handbook was very helpful. Loved the patio and backyard amenities-- hammock and fire pit. Great places to unwind at end of the day. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely decor. Plenty of room if traveling with young ones. Payne Park and the Legacy Trail are a 5 minute walk in a very quiet, friendly and walkable neighborhood. Hosts answered any questions promptly. This one stays on my list of places to return to.
