The Mermaid’s Tale is an airy townhouse offering a newly renovated open concept living space downstairs including granite countertops, fully applianced kitchen and a cozy seating area leading to an outdoor dining patio with a Weber grill. Parking for 3 cars, propane tanks, beach chairs, and back yard space provided. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 Queen and 2 twins, and a full bath with a stackable W/D. Hi speed wifi, 2 TVs, and a variety of books available. Beautiful Goose Rocks Beach is steps away, while the Tides Beach Club is just around the corner. Shopping and a variety of dining options are a quick 10 minute drive to the Port (Kennebunkport), and 40 minutes to Portland.

Perfect Stay

Kathleen went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay and we really did. Our girls loved it and we were down the street from the beach and a short drive to the shops in the center. Highly Recommend

Wonderful stay at Mermaid's Tale

The location of Mermaid's Tale can't be beat, and was perfect for our family of four (two adults, a two year old and five year old). The unit was super clean and a quick walk to GRB and The Tides, and Kathleen was always quick to respond via text. She even helped us out with some rainy day suggestions for our kids! We can't wait to return next year.

Relaxing Getaway on Goose Rocks Beach

We had a fantastic Mother/Daughter Getaway at Mermaid’s Tale and definitely plan to return! The location was perfect, just steps away from beautiful and serene Goose Rocks Beach and a short drive to quaint Dock Square in town. The house was lovely! Spotless, cozy, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed and more! The owner Kathleen was wonderful and made the whole rental process effortless! We highly recommend Mermaid’s Tale and are looking forward to returning next summer!
