New Year’s Getaway

The cabin was nice but common areas were smaller than expected. There wasn’t enough space for our party of 10 to sit & eat in the kitchen/dining area. The loft area upstairs was nice & spacious, the kids hung out there mostly. The game room wasn’t in the best shape…the sofa was broken & worn (which the owner did advise before arrival), the stools were loose (not safe to sit on), noticed a lot of dings/dents on the walls…needs a lot of work down there. Bathroom in the hall needs some work. The shower was difficult to use and shower head needs to be replaced. Wished parking was better, but we knew it was very limited before arrival. Lastly, the outside needs some TLC. Upon arrival, stepping out of our vehicles we almost stepped in dog poop. We really had to watch our step, it was everywhere. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, wished it was a little closer to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, but the cabin worked for what we needed it for & we enjoyed our New Years with family!

The house itself was as pictured. The beds were really comfortable. The owner was quick to respond from the moment we booked the cabin until we left. The place seemed up to date on everything and for it to be up in the mountains the wifi made up for the lack of cell service.

Nice Cabin

We enjoyed the cabin. It worked well for our family to cook onsite and not to have to eat out. It was a little farther away from town then we expected. Also it wasnt close to pool or fishing. Parking was limited.
