Come relax in this comfy condo just steps from the complex’s Private Beach and a gated seasonal pool. Centrally located to Northstar, Palisades Tahoe and Mt. Rose Ski Resorts.

Instantly feel at home in this beautifully remodeled Chateau Chamonix condo due to the light and bright furnishings and new flooring throughout. You will have a dedicated parking spot directly in front of the unit and upon entering, a cute bench and storage area to place your snow or beach gear. Turn on the heated kitchen floors as you grab a snack from the custom fridge or continue your conversation as you cook in the open concept gourmet kitchen. You will find everything you need to make your favorite dish including an Airfryer. The gorgeous granite countertops continue through to the breakfast bar for a stylish eating area for three. If you enjoy a more formal dining setting, four can dine on a natural wood table situated between the kitchen and living area. The living area with its unbelievably comfy couches, 60” Flat screen Smart TV with Surround Sound and Blu-ray movie collection for adults and kids will surely be a favorite gathering place. To enjoy some fresh air, simply open the sliding doors to the private patio area. The open-air but secluded patio with table and gas grill offers more options for your dining experience. The ground level also includes a guest half bathroom, laundry area with brand new washer and dryer units (not pictured) and a storage closet complete with a few necessary beach items.

Venture upstairs to find 2 well-appointed Master suites – each with its own private full bathroom and (no shared walls)! The left bedroom offers a King bed while the other houses a brand new pyramid bunk bed with trundle - an extra long twin bed on top with a Queen on the lower part of the bunk bed plus a Twin bed that slides out from under the Queen bed. Both bedrooms are outfitted with luxury bedding and pillowtop or memory foam mattresses. Everyone can appreciate the large mirrors, exhaust fans and heated lights found in all bathrooms. Take some time to relax in a bath in the left bathroom or if you’re more on the go, use the shower only bathroom to the right. Privacy is not an issue since both bathrooms are accessible only through their respective bedrooms.

Head out of the unit for a very quick stroll down to the private beach area maintained by the HOA. During the summer months, access to a gated pool complete with loungers is included and available from Memorial weekend through Labor Day. The community offers dedicated parking for one vehicle plus one guest parking space. New washer and dryer in unit but coin-operated laundry also on site. Rental unit is within walking distance of Kings Beach restaurants, shops and State Park.

Right on the Beach
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at this sweet spot. Just steps to a private beach. It was a perfect quiet spot for my grandson to play and for us to kayak. Loved it!

BUYER BEWARE! Disgustingly dirty!
This was the dirtiest rental I have ever stayed in! I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. When we arrived, we noticed the carpet had A LOT of stains. Then, after walking on it for a few minutes, our toddler’s feet were BLACK. Since it was already evening when we checked in & our toddler needed to go to bed, we rented a carpet cleaner from the grocery store and carpet cleaned the unit ourselves. We spent our first night & morning carpet cleaning the downstairs and upstairs so it would be sanitary for our toddler. When we poured the water out of the cleaner, it was BLACK! We contacted the property manager & were told that, during their inspection before we checked in, they had noticed that the carpet needed to be cleaned. However, they chose not to clean it before our arrival or even tell us about it ahead of time! Although they refunded our cleaning fee, they refused to reimburse us for the carpet cleaner and the Swiffer we had to pay out of pocket for to do the job, even though they knew it needed to be done before we got there. Apparently, we did not give them an opportunity to fix the issue before we incurred those expenses. Though the opportunity for that was when they noticed the problem before we arrived. Their excuse was that they had had back to back reservations since May (we stayed in August). The carpet seemed to be MUCH dirtier than just this problem. While the private beach & location were nice, the disregard for cleanliness overshadowed our stay.

Great place to stay
This is a beautifully appointed townhome with a private beach. The kitchen was well-equipped and the whole townhome was comfortable. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which were lifesavers. There were beach chairs and beach towels for renters use. There were a few things I believe should be changed ASAP to make it more pleasant. These affected my evaluation of the unit's value for the price. The entry carpet runner and downstairs carpet were very soiled and off-putting. The runner should be replaced and the carpets cleaned. The cleanliness of the floor in general was not what we expected. The outdoor table is so wobbly that it was unsafe to use, which was disappointing as the rear deck was lovely and there was a gas BBQ that we used. The table should be replaced. With these simple changes, this would be a good value for the tasteful unit and location with a private beach.
