Get ready for a real treat at Big Buck Lodge!
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits on 7.5 private acres and is pet friendly. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows in the living room with propane fireplace allow for long gazes out into the heavily wooded surrounding area. Just out the back door are several private hiking trails that lead to the Sandy river. In the Winter time you can use the provided snowshoes to hike around the property or you can sled on the hill right out back. Bring your favorite coffee or K-Cups and start your morning with a nice hot beverage outside in the covered gazebo with bar, mini fridge & firepit. Or relax and melt away your cares in the new hot tub. There is a play structure in the front yard that will entertain and tucker out the little ones.
If you would prefer to stay in; there is ping pong, shuffleboard, and corn hole in the garage. This home has a well appointed gourmet kitchen for the chef in the family to cook meals for all. A refrigerated wine chiller for those bottles of your favorite merlot have a place to relax too. The master suite downstairs offers a nice sized jacuzzi tub and lovely forested views.
Deer frequent the property and the star gazing at Big Buck Lodge is impressive.

Awesome Cabin

This is an amazing cabin. Wonderful secluded location, beautiful outdoor fireplace, well stocked kitchen. It was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Luxury in Mt Hood

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had the best experience at Big Buck Cabin! It was the 4 of us but we hosted family for a dinner. The cabin accommodated 18 people for dinner easily! We had everything we needed. We stopped at the Walmart near the Portland airport and did curbside then headed to the cabin. We only ate out twice at the Zig Zag Inn for an awesome Breakfast and Timberlane Lodge for dinner. All other meals were super easy at the cabin. There are so many activities to keep everyone from 1yr to 99 yrs busy! We loved the trail down to the river and the kids loved playing on the swing set. The hot tub under the stars was breath taking and perfect after skiing Mt Hood. The view out of the living roomEvery morning with the sun rise is something we will always remember. One evening the power went out (even surrounding homes nearby) and the cabin had a generator! We felt that was such an awesome luxury to have in the mountains if the power goes out! Made us feel like we were in good hands. Thank you for making our family holiday so perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay in such an awesome place!
