Cancelled upon Arrival

After traveling from CA to FL we departed our flight only to receive a text message from the host saying our reservation was cancel. He goes on to say that he was working with Vrbo to find us somewhere else to stay and when I asked who he was working with he didn’t respond. After contacting Vrbo myself they started the process of calling the host to inquire and was told he had extended a stay to another guest, when he told me Vrbo double booked him. When looking at other listing his listing appeared as vacant in the search and the Vrbo agent confirmed. I spent half my trip bouncing around and rearranging logging due to this. Beware.
