Cozy place in the trees
We loved our stay at Pine Top. The location was cozy and peaceful. Although the location isn't walkable to town, I think it's worth the trade off for the serenity and the drive into town is short. The house itself was large and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The main level has the kitchen, dining room, living room, one bedroom, one bathroom (shower), and a fireplace and deck. The lower level has three bedrooms, one with its own bathroom (shower) and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom (tub/shower combo). The bed we slept in was very comfortable. There is also a huge deck on the lower level. We stayed here during the winter so we didn't get a lot of deck time (we did use the grill and do some stargazing), but I imagine these decks are incredible during the summer in the shade of the trees.
We enjoyed the nice sunlight coming in the large windows in the living room. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions. We really liked the huge wood burning fireplace and there was plenty of firewood available on the deck.
