Best beach vacation ever!
This was my second visit this year to this outstanding complex and great condo. Condo is spacious and well appointed with comfy furniture. Condo has everything you need whether dining in and using the beautiful grill area or driving a short trip to nearby eateries. The generous balcony has outstanding view to pools and beach. It's a bit of a walk to get to beach but an easy walk over the sand dunes on a very nice boardwalk. We took a wagon and loaded it up. We will be back early spring.

Clean - But needs updating
The condo was very clean. The appliances were very outdated. You couldn’t see the display on the microwave and there was literally only 1 pot and pan to cook with. The beds were very uncomfortable and the thermostat did not work very well. The bedrooms were very hot, like no air could get to them. Some of the lamps didn’t work, it’s possible the bulbs were just burnt out. The beds had no blankets on them, just a very thin sham. It was doable for a week, but work needs to be done to make it more accommodating for people wanting to cook and more comfortable.

What I did not like was the refridgerator. It was old and the outside was stained and it did not...
I loved the view from the balcony and I also liked the washer and dryer.

I’d stay again
The condo was great for 5 of us. The balcony was perfect, plenty of chairs and we had many meals at the table while watching the waves! The grills were great, we cooked out twice. The resort was fun, tennis courts, (where we played pickle ball!), pools, even a restaurant. It was a terrific family atmosphere, lots of kids. I’d stay here again! The other reviews here seemed to be very critical of everything, the bed is a full size, the fridge has some wear, but we came to have fun and enjoy being with family, we can look over those things! There are many golf courses in the area, and Kiva Dunes is right across the parking lot. There are some close by restaurants. The beach service is good.

Old Building Old Feel
We were pretty disappointed overall with our accommodations. The view of the ocean and the proximity to the ocean are really the only positive things we can say. We stayed in what was probably the original building at The Plantation and it just feels old and worn out. We used the stairs quite often and they were dirty and littered with trash. The grounds themselves were decent - nothing special to be sure. As it relates to this particular unit - ugh. In general, the unit was clean. It is just VERY worn out. The pictures make it look nice and admittedly, the living area and the dining area furniture has relatively newer fabric. We realized what we had gotten ourselves into when we saw a "boom box" next to the TV in the living room (and the age of the alarm clock - who uses one anymore). The bed in the primary "suite" is a full bed - this was probably disclosed in the description but a full bed is hardly big enough for 1 adult, let alone 2. The bedding was also inadequate - no blankets whatsoever in the unit. We had to purchase them. The bathrooms are original in my estimation. The lighting and light fixtures were almost all original except for some lamps. Many light bulbs were burned out. The dining light fixture had bright fluorescent bulbs which we dislike - some bulbs in the unit were incandescent and others were bright blue like white. Very annoying. The rug in the completely out of scale to the room (tiny). The TVs were not smart. The wifi was unreliable. It took at least 3 days to get working fob to the onsite "gym" (big enough for just a few people) and when we did get it, it magically appeared meaning someone with the property management company just let themselves into the unit with no notice to us. The balcony was worthless other than the view because you cannot talk to one another without an annoyingly loud echo from your own voices. The kitchen has granite counters and decent cabinets and had everything we needed but everything is OLD - utensils, pots and pans, etc. And disorganized. The appliances all worked but they are all OLD and the fridge has rust on it presumably from the ocean salt over the many years it has probably been there. The TV remote in the master did not work - I assume it needs a new battery. The washing machine left stains on some of our clothing. The cleaning supplies (mops and brooms) looked like they were retrieved from someone's trash. The floors were dirty underneath the furniture. Very difficult to open and cl
