Although the Town of Beech Mountain does a great job clearing snow off of the main roads quickly in the winter months it is highly recommended to have 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain. During winter months we highly recommend bringing snow chains to assist.

Mountain trip

Great location! Clean, comfortable beds with great privacy for those still sleeping as both bedrooms are located downstairs and kitchen and living room is located on 2nd story. Balconies offered great views as we were able to see how busy the mountain was and how packed the parking lot was from right outside the door. When we visit Beech Mountain again, will definitely look into staying here! Since we didn't have great weather, the rain brought us back to the home, where we gathered in the living room playing with the great assortment of board games.
