Beach getaway in Daytona.
My WIFE daughter and I decided to go on a three night Daytona Beach getaway. I wanted to book the resort since they have a lot of water activities for my daughter. After booking the resort I received what I thought was a strange message stating that the unit is not allowed to be on Vrbo and I will need to say that I am a friend of the owner to stay there. Kind of odd after spending $****(Vrbo will not let me say) for three nights. The person that stayed in contact with me was very adamant about what I should tell the resort when I get there and the way, I must lie to them. Since this was a last-minute booking, I did not want to have issues with Vrbo canceling the booking, so I decided to go. Whoever has this unit up for rent, runs some type of underground rental agency to facilitate getting these units rented for vacation rentals. A little shady for me and I would definitely not pay that kind of money to do it again. Pool was full of trash, Band-Aids, etc. etc. If you do not block chairs on the patio by 730 at the latest in the morning, you will not have any place to sit all day. Almost 0 food on site and not much nearby so plan on cooking the majority of your meals at your unit. Also very limited parking so if you do not keep your parking spot, you will have to park in the city parking garage and walk to the building. All good things to know before booking.
