The entrance to US HWY 101 is less than 2 miles away, which provides quick accessibility to the many World Class Wine Regions. Napa, Carneros, Dry Creek, Russian River and Alexander Valleys are all located within 15 to 35 miles from the Decarli House. Along the way, you'll find the charming towns of Healdsburg, Guerneville, Sebastopol, Sonoma and Glen Ellen, which offer everything from Fine Dining to some of the most picturesque Golf Courses in Northern California. The Westside Neighborhood has three parks in walking distance, including McNear Park which hosts the Outdoor Summer Movie Series and Walnut Park which hosts the local Farmer's Market. DeCarli House Christmas 2023

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised. We hosted a family dinner with 11 people. Everyone fit at the table. The kitchen supported the cooking. The backyard area would be really nice in warmer weather.

Phenomenal stay!

What an amazing place to stay in Petaluma! Check in was easy and communication with the host was wonderful. The house is impeccably decorated and maintained—we were taking pictures so we could try to recreate some of the decor once we got back home. The bedrooms are cozy, the common spaces are welcoming, and the backyard is great, too—there is even a heat lamp to ward off the chill at night. Location was ideal: very quiet and neighborhood-y, with a park just a block away, but walkable to the center of town. We were 3 adults and 2 young kids (10 and 7), and all would be more than happy to return next time we are in the area thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Home

Booking was easyand the host was very communicative. The hous was immaculate, in a lovely neighborhood and close to down town ammenties. It exceeded our expectations! Would whole heartedly recommend this home for a wonderful stay. Also has alot of wonderful ammenties! Fully stocked kitchen, lovely music system and super backyard!

Wow! Best place ever!

My daughter was coming into town with new grand baby and we needed a bigger place to stay. We rented the DeCarli house. I cannot say enough things about this home. It was a retro designed with a lot of care and detail added. From robes for everyone to wine and coffee, nothing was missed. It was an incredible design with an upstairs family room and two bedrooms which was convenient for my daughter and her new family. We had friends over and they just raved about cool this house was. We loved the CD collection and the stereo system , the books and video! The kitchen was beautiful, clean and nicely arranged . The bathrooms were big and spacious. What isn’t bragged about in this listing is the yard and beautiful magnolia and succulents. It had a clean bbq and large table enough to entertain. I moved from Petaluma last year after 30 years and this house is it for me. Future family gatherings! The location couldn’t be better and my husband and I were able to visit all our long lost favorites. The best part was how accommodating the host was. It was the hottest weekend of the year and she prepared the house to stay cool for the baby and provided instructions on how to keep it cool . She was attentive and obviously took a lot of pride in this amazing home. This is five star plus! Thank you!

Great Place to Gather

We stayed in this home for a mini family reunion. Everyone loved it. Very comfortable & well appointed with anything we might need. Long dining tables inside & outside provide wonderful meal opportunities for the group. We enjoyed the modern aesthetic & sustainability efforts of this house. The sound system & library of music were both an added bonus. The house location is close enough to walk into charming Petaluma & an easy drive to nearby attractions. There was an extreme heat wave during our stay, but the owner gave us helpful advice on how to keep the house cool during the day which worked out just fine. The nights cooled down easily with fans provided in every room. The house does adjoin the owner’s property but we never felt a lack of privacy. Christine is a lovely host who left thorough notes & was always available to answer any questions. We definitely recommend this VRBO!
