About this property

Cabin in the Woods

Perfect for a VT getaway, we are close to incredible year round activities of skiing, hiking, and biking. With easy access to I-89, Route 2, & Route 100, we are 10 minutes from Bolton Valley, 45 minutes from Stowe, and 20 minutes from Burlington. Many restaurants and are within a 15 minute drive. The perfect cabin for friends or family to enjoy a VT vacation.

Sleeps 4:
* Two bedrooms - one with Sleep Innovations queen sized memory foam mattress and a twin bed. The other bedroom has two twin beds.

* Linens and toiletries provided.

* Fully equipped kitchen with appliances and coffee provided.

* Full sized washer and dryer.

* The main room is heated with a propane gas "wood stove" with real flames and look-alike logs that is controlled with a wall thermostat. There are additional electric baseboard heaters in the dining area and living room, and in the bedrooms to keep you cozy on those cold VT nights.

* Flat screen t.v. with Roku in guest mode. Bring your log ins and passwords and you can stream any channel to which you subscribe.

* You will have the cabin to yourself, and may use the first floor only.

* Plenty of parking in the driveway.

* Please keep in mind that this is a Vermont. Our road is very well-maintained but it does snow in the winter and we do have a mud season in the spring.

* There are outdoor security cameras at entry doors of the cabin.

* There is no smoking in the cabin, on the porches, or on the premises.

Cozy Cabin
Cabin was clean and comfortable. It was a great location for our family of 4 to conveniently explore downtown Burlington area and at the same time have a quiet location to relax in during the evening. Morning coffee on the walking bridge over the brook on the property was enjoyable. You can hear the running brook out the windows. Hosts were very flexible with check in time on day we arrived and allowed us to arrive early which extended our day! We would consider booking again in the future. Neat spot!

Mountains and City
This cabin is ideally located between Burlington and great hiking areas like Mount Mansfield. We enjoyed using it as a base to explore the area. Everything needed was provided including a washer and dryer.

Great cabin!
What a great cabin! Pluses: Laura was great, Everything you needed was already in the cabin, not missing paper towels, utensils, shampoo, nothing missing. Great location not far from Burlington but out of the way. Very helpful information in guest book. Very clean. BEAUTIFUL stream right behind the cabin we would listen to it at night. Quiet cabin
Like others have said, this cabin is in a very private location, which was a big plus. Both the interior and the surrounding property are really nice, and Laura was very accommodating. One of the better rentals I've visited, would highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful cabin nestled in the perfect location to get away from it all. We can't wait to have another opportunity to spend time there again.

About the host

Host profile image
Our family built this cabin on 25 acres of land in the early 1970s. Since then it has been updated, added on to, and been given the modern amenities and conveniences that we like to have when we are there, all while keeping the original charm and coziness.
