Run the other way
July 2022 stay. Worst vacation experience ever and we have stayed at quite a few VRBOs that we have loved. The place was dirty upon check in… including hair clippings in a bathroom drawer. Grease drippings down front of cabinets. Walls looked like no one has cleaned in years there were so many marks. Blinds in downstairs bedroom were broken. After we bought groceries discovered fridge was not cold at all. Since after hours had to use Vacasa fridge in employee area until next day found out someone set fridge setting so freezer was FREEZING but no cold air to fridge area. Upstairs bathroom toilet ran after almost every flush until you manually flipped the flap down in the tank. (Later found out owner knew and choose to wait weeks for a part versus replacing toilet). They sent someone to fix toilet but it still happened. To top it all off part of the ceiling fell down in the kitchen area. They would relocate us to a place blocks off the beach with no pool… we had two 12 year olds with us. We go to the beach once a year so we stay on the beach with a pool. Our choice was to relocate or leave early.. we left since this was no vacation. I would have had less stress if I had stayed at work. Had to fight for refund we got which was not enough in my opinion. Best part of vacation was going to Kennywood Amusement Park on the way home. Cleaner and better maintained than this rental!

Loved the place. But need a new broom & dust pan. Cleaning supplies limited.
The view is excellent. Amenities good. Not the condo, but Century 1 very clean. Wi-Fi experienced problems. Would definitely rent again. Thank you.

Plumbing needs repair! Not handicapped accessable
I really appreciated the assistance from Vacasa staff and feel the issues I had are a the responsibility of the owner and not vancasa.Property is described as views of the bay and the ocean. The view of the ocean was magnificent. however the bay view was of air conditioner’s units and a partial wall. Not nice at all. Major problem was from the moment we entered the condo. I am 74 and no where does it list that the building is not handicapped accessible le. Yes there is the freight elevator that can be used to get to the condo (4 floor) but when I got to the condo, there were steps to get down to the main living quarters. I assumed by the pictures you enter in the lower level and I did not need to do the steeps every day. There is no handicapped access to the beach, My major concern was the plumbing. After only a few minutes in the condo did we realize the toilet on the second floor was not working. A woman from the office came up and fixed the problem with the flapper. So the toilet would flush after use. The next afternoon we went to the beach and stayed approximately 1.5 hours. Upon our return to the condo, we found about 2” of water all over the 2nd floor and it had run down thru the wiling onto the lower floor. There we had at least 1” of water from the stairs out to the balcony! I slipped and fell..no bones broken, but the rest of my vacation I had to use a cane to get around. The problems do not stop here. Management sent a maintain d man up within 10 minutes or so who told us there were problems with the toilet and the overflow came from the toilet back. He further stated he did not “clean up”. My daughter used at least 12 towels sopping up the water. From the look of the popcorn ceiling on the lower level, this has happened before. From then on we were told by the office that to utilize the 2 floor bath toilet, we should keep the lid off the back of the toilet and manually push down the flapper after we flushed. Disgusting. Further plumbing was experienced in The lower bath as we had to get maintenance come 2 additional times to plunge the toilet. We were not able to open the line ourselves with the plunger supplied. I also found the downstairs bedroom in need of upkeep as the paint was off the base of the windows and looked dirty and unkept.

Not my favorite but staff was amazing
First time in Ocean City and the beach was amazing. The view could not be beat. However…even though the unit was appropriately stocked it was not clean. It was older and I’m ok with that but the decor was covered in dust, the ceiling fans had quite the layer. The windows were hazy at best and I had to was all the pots before I could use them because they were covered in grease. The furniture had stains and some tears. The windows were missing some of their blinds and the toilets didn’t fill back up after flushing so unless the back lid was taken off and the flap adjusted it would just keep running. All of this is annoying but I could live with it. I just think we paid a lot to not have a very clean unit. The kicker for my family is that when my kids 20 and 15 years old sat on the sofa to watch TV and turned it on it was set to the porn directory. This was so beyond unacceptable. Location was amazing. Staff was beyond kind. View beyond perfect. Quality of unit was faded, old and dirty. But the porn just could not be overlooked. Definitely want to check the TV and make sure that is not waiting for the next guest.
