The house has been recently updated. However, the neighborhood has not. We were a little uncomfortable with the neglect of the area, but made sure to keep the doors locked & everything was fine.
I do want to say that the beds were a challenge. When we went to move the King sized bed away from the wall so that my elderly parents could use it, the frame completely fell apart. Upon looking closely, we found the entire metal "boxspring" frame was held together by 4 screws. So, we went to Lowes to buy more screws & assembled it completely. Should not be a problem in the future, but I wonder if the other 2 beds were also shoddily put together. We also fixed one of the dining chairs that the legs had been put on sideways. I'm not sure who assembled the furniture, but it was very poorly done.
All this aside, the house met our needs. However, if you want to be successful in this realm, more attention to the details needs to be had.
