CONDOS LAS PENAS. SPECTACULAR BEACHFRONT 4 BEDROOM PUERTO VALLARTA CONDO !!!

We recently stayed at Las Penas with my two children under 5 and grandparents. This is a great multi generational location that is safe and perfect for the young and old alike. I was worried about it being too isolated, but there are plenty of cabs to take you into town and or to Mismaloya. I was also worried about food for times when travel would be hard with nap times, but the on site staff and restaurant is wonderful and reasonable and the fine dining at the palapa restaurant two doors down (walkable) is great. The private beach with gentle surf and pool access (including baby pool for little kids) is really amazing, along without door showers, foot baths and very nice outdoor bathrooms for diaper changes, etc; This is a beautiful fabulous location where you can relax and be in the ocean, and an easy cab drive to anywhere else!

The unit itself was fine - as advertised. Problem was that major construction was taking place both next door with pile drivers going all day long, even on Christmas Day AND major work with extensive noise inside the complex on the elevators. We were not informed of either and the noise was extremely loud and constant making peaceful enjoyment of an otherwise very nice spot impossible. Owner made a reasonable concession on charges but we never would have stayed here has we been informed beforehand of the situation.

Beautiful, large condo w large balcony overlooking the ocean that can accommodate 6 people easily. Quiet beach. Modern furnishing. Easy check in. We had several small problems in the condo but the owner responded immediately and w/in 2 days all important issues were resolved including bringing by new dishes. Instead of getting upset , the owner thanked us for letting her know about things that needed attention. Because of this attention, we would like to stay here again the next time we visit PV.

We love staying at Las Penas. It is almost like having a private beach. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Speaking Spanish is not required but helps and a little goes a long way. Breakfast/Lunch place beside pool serves good food and you can run a tab for the week. Facility, including pools, is very clean and maids keep rooms spotless. Unit was in good shape: the furniture was a good condition, there were sufficient items and equipment in the kitchen, minor issues with the fans and AC, TVs and WiFi worked very well. We would go back.

We stayed in the condo for almost three weeks with our family. It was spectacular. The location was beautiful and having a pool and oceanfront was perfect. The daily maid service was very nice and the availability of the kitchen was great for the kids. We had plenty of space (we were 8 people) and did not feel crowded. The porch was the perfect spot any time of the day, even during the rain. The location was about 20 minutes south of the city, but we did not mind and enjoyed the scenic, quiet setting. We rented a car, so getting back and forth to town was very easy. It was also comforting to have on-site security at night. All in all, this was a great place to stay and we would definitely return.
