Prior to purchasing this property we looked at hundreds, if not thousands of properties in multiple markets, but with a particular focus on Savannah, Charleston, or the beach ... I also have a Maui wish list, but that is a bit of a commute! When I was sent an alert that this property was available I fell in love with the fact that it was brand new, yet on the Savannah Riverfront and accessible to Savannah's historic district. When we came to see the property and realized how convenient it was to Tybee Island we decided that this property truly was the best of all worlds. While we love the beach, but not overly commercialized beach locations, we tend to get restless after a few days. The fact that we can spend the day at the beach, yet still come back and have plenty of shopping, dining and entertaining options made this location a perfect fit for us. The planned amenities in the neighborhood are unmatched to other rental locations and will include a private clubhouse with coffee and bar services, pool and state-of-the-art fitness center. As part of the Eastern Wharf commercial development there will soon be multiple retail and dining options just a hop, skip and a jump away for days when you don't want to venture too far. In the meantime, the Thompson Hotel has three different drinking/dining venues which are all excellent.
