Island Nest is a Beautiful 2 Bedroom Home with a newly refurbished interior and exterior! This Home features view of the Apalachicola Bay right from the Covered Porch, and is a short walk or drive from the Beaches of St. George Island!

This home features Brand New Floors, lots of fresh painting, and mostly new Furniture throughout! Everything about this home says Bright, Clean, and Beachy! This home has everything you need for a Fun Stay on beautiful St. George Island!

Home features a mostly open floor plan with a spacious living room equipped with a sleeper sofa, flat screen t.v, and Wifi! The Dining area is nearby and has a modern table that seats 6 people comfortably. Kitchen area is located just off the main living and dining area, and has all electrical appliances, and both a Keurig and regular coffee maker!

Master Bedroom - King Bed with dresser and Nightstand, and spacious closet.
Guest Bedroom - Queen Bed with Dresser and Nightstand, and spaciious closet.
Full Bathroom - Features a Tub/Shower combo with no slip interior lining, Vanity, and Toilet.

Pleasant Place

This was our first stay at Island Nest. Our time at St. George Island was amazing; and Island Nest is located in a wooded/quiet neighborhood. The wrap-around porch is a wonderful place to relax and provides shade/sun no matter the time of day. The rental is a quick walk/bide ride away from the beach, so that is really convenient! Fishing on the island is terrific. My husband caught Spanish Mackeral from the pier. We cooked that on the charcoal grill, at the rental; along with many other grilled dinners. Although the propane grill is listed as “an amenity”, propane to run the grill is a responsibility of the renter, we were told; so we stuck with charcoal. The island is so bike-friendly. We rented bikes for the week, from Jolly Roger, with delivery and pick-up; and were highly satisfied with the bikes/service provided. The sand dunes at Dr. Julian G Bruce State Park are a must-see. A fun outing, that is close by, is Appalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, in Eastpoint (right across the bridge). They have some interesting fish tanks, in addition to exhibits about local history. Our time at Island Nest was pleasant!

Quiet relaxing stay

The accommodations were clean and well appointed. Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay. Price was right. Would do it again.

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I had a great time staying at this beautiful home. It was clean, quiet and had everything you could possibly need provided! We enjoyed evening walks around the block and sitting on the deck watching the sun set. Wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend and return - Thank you.

Perfect house for us

Great stay in this functional and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood in SGI. Close to the shops restaurants as well as the bridge back to the mainland, with a nice porch for sitting and a well-equipped kitchen, this place suited our needs well. SGI is truly a treasure, and we enjoyed riding our bikes, paddling our canoe, and walking the trails at the state park. Great seafood at Paddy's raw bar less than 2 miles from the property as well. Great day trips to Apalachicola and Cape San Blas are also possible from the house. We enjoyed it all and would return.
