Happy Days are here again at the Cunningham Cottage. Mrs. and Mr. C established this charming cottage as their home away from home when they needed a respite from Milwaukee. Designed in modern 50’s Retro and centrally located in the heart of Wausau. Master bedroom has a pillow top King Bed. The second bedroom boasts two twin size beds with comfortable gel memory foam. High speed WiFi, Cable TV, Ring alarm, Smart Locks for entry, Washer and Dryer. Garage access for recreational gear.

Fantastic!

My family and I so enjoyed this house! My mom kept raving about the Cunningham theme. She smiled a lot while we stayed here! The house is so beautiful and relaxing. The King bed was very comfortable, as Mom and I deal with back pain, we were very thankful for that! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Wausau area. Thanks to the owners for everything!

My name is Jenny and I am a realtor / interior designer who relocated to Wausau from Chicago almost 20 years ago with my husband and children. We thought we'd be here a few years and move on but we fell in love with the local community and never left.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this cottage (small home) because of it's charm and it's convenient location to shopping, restaurants, our fabulous Grand Theater and ArtsBlock, Granite Peak Ski Hill, Sylvan Park Tubing & Bike Hill, Parks, the Riverfront, Boating and more. I purchased it with the hope of luring our grown children back to Wausau for more frequent visits and it worked! When they are not visiting, we open it up to other guests.

What makes this property unique

Some of the unique benefits to the Cunningham Cottage is that it allows guests to really step back in time with the retro decor all the while having every modern comfort at their finger tips which includes a big screen TV, smart thermostat, smart locks for ease of checking in and more. We have a fully equipped kitchen should you wish to prepare a meal or a cuppa tea, coffee or cocoa. In addition to your all of your basic appliances(refrigerator, oven/range, microwave and dishwasher), we have an air fryer and counter oven with rotisserie option. A washer/dryer and complimentary detergent and fabric softener available in the basement. And, we have a detached garage available for your recreational gear as well as a ski rack. We hope you enjoy our cottage and town as much as we do and we look forward to your visit.
